Yea, of course this should be expected from gamers, in the past year there has been fiasco after fiasco, outrage is at the highest I've ever seen for everything.
Women in WW2, women generals in Rome: Total War 2, Puddles missing in Spider-man, Censorship, Lesbians in The Last of Us 2, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Pay 2 Win.
I'm not commenting on the validity of any of the outrage, just pointing out that gamers are certainly vocal about what displeases...
About what rainslacker said, I feel like "don't" care is not the right way to describe it. It's more like regard with contempt mobile gaming.
So when a game is announced as mobile only they think it will be a piece of shit not worthy of being called a game. And when it is a game they thought would be on PC/Console, and it's mobile only, they revile it.
The first part I can understand, I think mobile gaming is terrible but some people...
Only game I ever played on my mobile is Pokemon on an emulator.
BTW I have no problems with this mobile game. I don't play games on my phone. (Except Pokemon 4 years ago)
Sounds like Horizon Zero Dawn, except the horse is a robot.
Those things are to get the gold medals, you don't need to do them, they are to make the missions more challenging.
Assassins Creed Odyssey and Red Dead Redemption 2 are better than Spider-man. GOW is around the same level, if not a little below.
Yay opinions. we all have them.
Do you consider GTA V to be a shooter?
They do, however, have one similarity that can be compared. Specifically, riding a horse is the same.
I prefer Assassin's Creed Odyssey's horse riding. Particularly for the auto ride function and not having to spam A/X to run faster.
Although, I do agree that the overall games are very different.
I keep seeing this argument on N4G (The "same game every year", "tired", "same formula") but the 2 recent games are very different from AC games of the past.
There was even complaints about Odyssey being "a reskin of Origins". While I can somewhat see how people could say or even believe this without playing it. Odyssey is quite different for Origins. Even better in my opinion.
I don't think the complaint was about materials, rather level requirements for missions. The complaint was that they had to grind XP to get to the level required for the mission.
Although, I disagree with the complaint, it was not about materials and equipment. or money
I'd like an option to fast travel back to camp. It took me over 15 minutes of straight riding, no distractions to get back to camp and I wasn't that far, a little north of Strawberry going back to Camp outside of Rhodes.
I agree that this post is long winded but I don't remember the game telling me this. I have 20+ hours game time and I learned this from Reddit.
Basically Set way point -> start moving -> set cinematic view -> let go of "Run" button
I played Kiwami first. I understand why people say to play 0 first. I feel, however, that Kiwami should be the natural entry point into the series as it was intended to be.
0 being the better game, it would kinda ruin Kiwami if played in that order.
I would recommend to pick up 0 while it is on sale though.
Same story, back in march with Kiwami. I don't have the patience to get 100% in these games. but I finish the story, all substories and don't avoid all the other stuff. I just don't get to 100%. Typically spending 50 hours per game.
The Yakuza games are great. I don't take them too seriously. They have a serious tone in the main story for the most part. But many of the sub-stories are hilarious and great fun.
They are actually my favourite games on playstation. I own all that are available on PS4 including Ishin that I bought in Japan.
Give it a go. Yakuza 0 is on sale at the moment too. it's probably better than Kiwami.
Sounds exactly like State of Decay 2. I haven't played that game either btw
Is this something from the article?
Could you explain what you mean?
The console sales? assassins creed sales? Ubisoft games' sales?
Edit: It's from the press release. Total Ubisoft sales
Xbox 20% PS4 31% 17/18. Xbox 22% PS4 44% 18/19.
From 11% gap to 22% gap.
"Looking specifically at Q2, 44% of sales were for games on PS4, with 22% on Xbox One and 17% on PC. Switch accounted for 3% of sales. "
is it just me or does this only account for 86% of sales? Where is the other 14% Google's project Stream?
Edit: I read the press release, 9% is mobile and 5% is "Others"
This article is now 2 days old. Is there no updates about this. I'm just curious is all.
Seems pretty shitty of Amazon to try to force people to cancel their pre-orders by delaying shipment by 1-2 weeks (if that is what is happening)
All fan boys are hypocritical, that's just par for the course.
