I feel the same about playstation exclusives
Forza Horizon in particular. The strange thing is (most) fans of Forza Motorsport don't like horizon.
It's not a real racing game to them. It seems to be quite popular but in the console pissing contest, Forza Horizon is the xbox boys only real quality game they can boast about.
disclaimer: I am an Xbox gamer mainly and I own Forza 4, 5, 6 and 7 as well as Forza Horizon 2, 3 and 4
This is the first comment that actually answer the question in the title. everyone else just named games they thought were over rated, over hyped or games they didn't like.
It's not really my type of game and I always thought it was way over hyped. I got it on sale and gave it a go.
I loved it, I only had one play though of about 107 hours or so. It's a long game and not much happens a lot of the time but it was really fun for me.
However, I can see how you could find it boring.
I found out after playing for a while that the Japanese voice is free on the ps store.
I didn’t change because at that point I was already used to the voices.
It should really be more like Sa-ka-mo-to.
This one was particularly bad in persona 5.
I understand why he would say that as a ceo who wants to make money. But I really think the whole mobile gaming, continuous revenue stream thing is a bubble and when that bubble bursts they will want to have their hands in other pots.
Or don’t put all their eggs in one basket.
Pc has games that can’t be played anywhere else. That’s why I have one. I don’t play games I can play on console on my pc.
I only play pc games on my pc everything else I play on Xbox or PlayStation.
e.g Rome total war 2 etc.
@rude-ro
Not only do you get a 10 hour trial, you get a 10% discount and if you wait long enough many of their games are available at no extra cost.
It’s ridiculously cheap $25 or $30? (I use £) per year. I think it’s a great deal. Buy a couple of games with 10% discount and it almost pays for itself.
The link takes me to an app by Niall Watchorn and the description says official Xbox.
I’m not sure I trust it.
The stats I saw was based on revenue and considering that EA access is like $20 a year or something is quite impressive.
EDIT: I'm pretty sure Gamepass has over 200 games right now. Not that that even compares to PSNow.
I'm not bashing PSNow or anything just pointing out how the statistics show that all are actually doing very well, PSNow included.
However 50%+ of market share is not from number of subscribers but from Revenue ...
I'm not a lawyer but they could take you to court and sue you for damages that they feel represents lost revenue from you leaking the games content, could well bankrupt you, they could take money directly from your wages etc.
Forza Horizon 4 doesn't have microtransactions
EDIT: Whoosh, I completely misunderstood you comment.
Why didn't you just get them repaired for free?
I'm skeptical about your claim, unless you are using hyperbole as comedy, then carry on.
I don't know if the RROD would really cause that much of a padding, I don't know if they are counted or how they are counted. I had a 360 fixed, sent it to for free. I don't think this counts as 2 in the numbers.
Same with the YLOD my friend had to pay like £80 each time his PS3 broke. If it didn't last 3 months after fixing then the 2nd repair is free.
I don't think these are counted in the PS3's numbers. However, I think a ...
I haven't played Gears 4 or Halo 5 and I own an Xbox One and a One X.
I also haven't played Gears 1, 2 or 3. Halo 1, 2, 3 or 4.
I'm just a casual tho. I only spend a couple of thousand per year on gaming.
It's weird, if you look at the gap charts for Xbox 0ne and 360, they are not so far apart, with the 360 ahaed.
a good 30+ million came in the last 2 years or so of the 360's life. I don't know if that is due to the slim being released but it would explain it.
In the UK you can't pay for a full year at a time. At least not the last time I checked. I think the same for Gamepass.
You mean the first one?
It does seem to be fashionable to love the first one and fashionable to hate the second one.
I think it is more about a nostalgic longing to return to the older time of video games when things were simple.
