That #1 is a good point. However, I believe your point is assuming that people don't prefer motion tracking because it's optional. Personally, I think people genuinely don't prefer it.
It's interesting though. I believe X1 is trying to capture the Wii audience that Wii U has failed to retain. Even if the dance/exercise games may have been a fad, I'm sure Microsoft will throw much money to advertise it back into a reality. Will it work??
The list is Gears, Alan Wake, and Halo at #1.
If that's really the list, then I would very much disagree. It would mean X1 has no chance next gen. X1 has to do much, much better than that.
Halo has a large fanbase, but Microsoft has already shown what they have of it. TV. When Xbox 360 came out, they were riding Halo. Now I'm wondering if they can come up with something besides CoD timed exclusive DLC.
At least Iran can accept the xbox one
LOL
It happens all the time to most products. I can lend my friend a skateboard, my netflix, hell I can invite my friend to watch TV. In no way is that wrong. It's been happening for a long time and it's not going to not happen.
It's up to the producers to create a game that makes people want to buy their product. People don't "fail" to realize that the company loses money through borrowing because it's not about the company. It&...
I believe that was the point... smh
Don't want to speak too soon, but it looks like Sony learned much more from last gen than MS.
But who knows? Maybe they'll renew another fad in motion gaming. Maybe timed exclusives (just assuming) will finally pay off.
Thief is a great game, but surely there are better SE surprises to be had. Right?
Yea, it explains it in one of the links in the article.
"Everything seems to point to the fact that the game was never announced on the 360 was due to Xbox Live’s policies and those aren’t very likely to radically change with the next console that will be announced soon."
"It’s more likely that Microsoft Japan simply wants to push Windows 8 in the country"
You never know though
Good article. And it is really messed up. I'll sum it up for those not sure they want to read the whole thing. You should.
The article touches on Nintendo, but doesn't want to get too in depth into it. What it really is about is Machinima wanting to charge developers of Minecraft for gameplay videos made by Machinima. The article then questions what this can do to the industry and what it may have already done. It ends with a link to an article describing one of Mach...
Looks like the writer is quite the Cloud fan lol.
But Yuna? Opinions i guess. A few damsels come before here on my list.
@TheThing That's a very pessimistic way to look at it. In fact, I'm pretty sure most types of characters have been used in games. Not much is original anymore. Space Marine-badass. done. Silent save-the-world hero, done. Narcissistic charmer, done. Young punk. Done.
It's not the character that makes the game. It's the execution of the character, gameplay, story etc. A few plot holes isn't going to break the game. BTW, I believe most of the hype comes from ...
Just to comment on the figure, this may be Sony's attempt at a PS4 "mascot." My response to that is "nice, and great potential."
My thoughts on its potential as the mascot: The character is as fun and lighthearted as Sackboy, but will probably have more personality (due to being in a save the world story). The story itself lends itself to a good potential of humor. The gameplay looks like it can be very versatile as well. I like the potential.
So meta
Just wondering. Was the last paragraph added after it was accepted?
I believe UC2 became popular because of how engaging it was. With that though comes a chance that it may be disengaging to others. For me though, it felt like I was playing my favorite action thriller TV/Movie for a little more than 10 hours of gameplay. To be honest, that experience is a little underrated.
The original link is obviously just a click generator. Its next articles will be why PS4 is greater than the next xbox or vice versa. Might as well put a picture of a hal...
Snow gets punched in the face. No one, unfortunately, punches Hope in the face.
He deserved several punches to the face.
It looks like I missed a pretty big step then in the "evolutionary time line." lol. It's disappointing that I missed it, but like I said failed to experience it.
Thanks guys for reading and contributing !
Thanks for pointing that out for me

Nvidia is great. They're really great, but they can't expect Sony to forget that they screwed consoles over by overselling what they gave them.
0/3 next gen consoles use Nvidia. That's a huge loss to their competitors especially since they all went to AMD.
And now they're just running with it
