Duty finder is great (the people that it finds is a different story though).
The reasons given for denying same-server matching is acceptable. It would complicate the algorithm and exclude healers (the group limiting class) from the matchmaking process even more. I would love to have it, but the community still has the ability to make parties on their own.
They should let the person who did 2k10 pick the songs.
MGMT, Knaan, Matishayu, Game, Ratatat, etc
2k13 and 2k7 had good soundtracks, but weren't as versatile.
Ty for the article. Great stuff from the interview. Here's a few things I want to highlight.
"First of all, we are going to introduce one part of the PVP we're planning to make, Coliseum. This is going to be 4 vs. 4 or 8 vs. 8. With this next beta phase, 4, we're going to test that out - so you'll be able to find out what happens when different classes or jobs fight against each other within FF14.
This Coliseum will be introduced with pat...
maybe somewhere my reading comprehension failed me, but
"4 years ago I was a solid 250lbs, hadn’t seen the inside of a gym in a few years and was trying to find a way to really kickstart my weight-loss. "
"Pairing these programs with a healthy diet has lost me over 70 pounds of fat, I now weigh in at 190, so get off the couch and play some video games!
What the article is basically saying is that every day he did this:
1) Eat a healthy breakfast
2) Exercise for one hour (using video games)
3) Lost 70 lbs over the course of 4 years.
As to the majority hating Lightning statement, that's wrong. People may have hated FF13, they may hate Snow and hope, but I think the majority feel indifference more than hate towards Lightning.
The major criticism of FF13 was it being "too linear" (hated that over usage). That caused the hate towards the installment. Unrelatable characters may have been a problem, but I would blame Hope and Snow for that.
As far as design goes, Realm Reborn has derived a lot from other installments to the series. FF6 Magitechs will be in game. The dragoon armor prototype is basically Kain's armor.
This is different though. They're saying that Lightning will have a quest specifically for her. I, for one, don't mind it (she seemed much more natural as a side role in 13-2). Other characters that would be cool in game would be FFT characters (beoulve family and Delita), FF6 characters ...
Aww man, every FF14 article makes me wish today was Friday so I can play in beta! Ah.
Uncharted 2 is also worth buying a PS3.
I hope the best for you and your family, and I'm glad you found something in the game to help.
I love that Gearbox made Tiny Tina the center of the last DLC because she's such a strong kid with a lot of heart. I'm especially glad that you chose to write about your reaction to such a lovable character.
Great entry. Great not in its nature as console war ammo (I understand MS is just the easy example), but great in exposing the lack of integrity in advertisement and journalism in the industry.
I agree. There could be better payment models. GW2 is proof of that. It's a very good game for a non subscription MMO. Even if that payment model doesn't work, I'm sure people would prefer buying at a higher price then pay monthly at a lower price than $15.
I just believe that there's a entitlement among gamers in paying for a game they already own. If that monthly subscription was lowered to say $5 a month while the initial retail price was increased, I beli...
The program looks a little raw, but it definitely can improve and has great potential.
It really depends on the developer or company direction, and not if it's WRPG or JRPG.
Case and point: Shinji Mikami, the one who said the headline, used to work at Capcom, but now works at Bethesda Studios.
So......
Thanks for the advice, but man you're not helping the urge lol. It sucks that the weekend window is only 2 days! Healer and Tank are most wanted, and I just want to feel how it is to tank before I make my main that is DPS.
JW though, what makes you say PS3 /w keyboard is better than PC version? I haven't tried it that way yet. Maybe the console feel?
PS3 version works well, but PC is definitely the better version.
I hope it's running next weekend. I haven't done a dungeon yet.
Unfortunately for me, I didn't play Zelda games after Ocarina of Time because: A)Majora's Mask required a expansion pack and B) I didn't own a Nintendo system after N64.
Ocarina Of Time was still one of the best games. I still have Nostalgia from those simple ocarina melodies.
what's not being talked about is that Saudi Arabia has 11k votes while U.S. has 5k votes.
Possible that votes are being funneled to Saudi Arabia?
The article addresses the PS3 version, to which I kind of agree with his position. I've played MMOs my entire life with PC and it's going to take a while to switch to MMO on console. There's just a lot of hotkeys and targeting that I have to get used to.
Given a choice, I would much rather play PC version.
Also, once they put in voice acting, the game will be much livelier.
This is my only MMO character that got any closure, and I'm pretty happy about that. My other MMO characters are just waiting around like Woody.
Can't wait until open beta!
