Gamestop and EB had prices listed for this in store in the past, well before the Headset was added and even before the DL version was announced for $59.99. Home will not sell many consoles alone. Not many things besides Halo could sell consoles alone. There are people who loke the PS3, but what it offers now is not enough to warrant a purchase. Home as an added feature/service to what already interest someone in the PS3 will promote sales though.

Socom 3 added a map pack and had plenty of room to add more on the list, but there is only 1 to this date.My guess is that sales were poor and they decided to focus elsewhere. I know this is a different company all together, but the idea is the same. If alot of people don't get the map pack, they may feel that they wasted their time. User created maps are where it is at. Then yes, it would be more interesting, New island, city, that would be good. I'm guessing that it will be a butt load of missions based in the same city, adding some new characters and stories. Maybe weapons and vehicles. I would like to see someone add content like a new city to this game.
You could still get the 60gb SKU, save your $100.00 and upgrade your Hdd yourself. I don't think Sony is going to push the 80gb SKU as much as they just want PS3's in homes. They don't care if it's the 60 or the 80, they are both the same hardware other than the hard drive. if you shell out the extra $100 for a 20gb difference, shame on you. It's nothing like the difference between the 60gb and the 20gb SKU's at launch
