XBL has a vast amount of media and games compared to the free PSN, but you get what you pay for. Then again, the PS3 has a very low failure rate and a vast amount of functionality and freedom compared to the less expensive 360..... You get what you pay for too?

360 looked more vibrant as far as color, PS3 looked faded due to being too bright (Side by side). PS3 looked blury in far off shot of players after the plays. I could not tell the difference with speed of frame rate though.

So much for his credibility. Don't buy games from Lazy Dev's. I can understand "I want to focus on 1 console" or even "I don't like Sony" or "The install base doesn't leave much room for profit" but don't blame the system on the Dev's lack of programming skills and adaptability.

Compression is always getting more efficient. 1 thing I always wonder about as far as compression, is there a benefit (Other that for audio) in NOT compressing data? I know audio looses a little with compression, but is data easier to read/load in an uncompressed state? Does it load faser without needing to be decompressed?

Man, Someone Disagreed with you for that question? I guess I'll be getting one for noticing it.

Devs will have a better grip with programing on the systems, More tools will be available making the process easier, more streamlined and as mentioned, the user base "Should" be larger, offering more profit for games released. I don't expect "Standard" games to exceed the $60 point.

But I get the Mag free even though I have not subscribed in years. Their credability is so poor that they have to give away the mag for people to read it. They dumped on BLue Dragon too and Nothing has been said negative about this game to this point. EGM: Excessive Gaming Misinformation.

Though interest is still there, Warhawk may win the financial allocation GRAW 2 was hoping to receive. Until I can afford to get every game I want, I'll have to pick and choose.

MP Demo would be nice.

But I have no doubt this will still be a great game and sell some 360's. Not that I'm interested. No need to get an 360 yet. BUT I do know that Not having day/night tracks will NOT hinder this game. Shipping with 8 or less total tracks, that will though. A game like T Woods only having 12 courses was a problem from disk space, but not having night/day courses would not have mattered much.

But I have decided to "Limit" the money I spend on EA IPs. I used to get Woods every year. I'm passing on this years. I'll just play 05 and make myself like it. No Madden, NCAA, Burno...Well, I might have to get this one and if a good SSX game comes out.... Mainly the sports franchises. Once they make a dramatic leap in improving their franchises, I'll look into it. Maybe Petey Moore can help.

But Man! that's fast. I know that's the style of the UT franchise, but it's still fast, blazing. If the PS3 version is that fast, may have to stick with Warhawk and Confrontation. Unless some sweet mods are released...... that's pretty much guarenteed, so I guess I'm getting it.

I use my CC for the PSN. The payments do not come from the card, they come from a pool of money that you add to using your card. You add money to the PSN using the CC in incriments of $5. Add it when you like and store it there if you want to. When you make a purchase, it comes out of the pool of money you added, not your card. If you are short, it will pull more money from your card (With your permission). After adding the money, no need to use your card number for the individual purchases, ...

I can say I respected Peter as a voice moving gaming forward. Regardless if he was specific to the Xbox, he was the voice of the 360 and a respected person in the gaming world.

(I kinda said that like he died huh).

Take a note from Warhawk and include 4 way split screen support for online play. (brainstorming: Twisted Metal + Transformers......)

I wonder if the Xbox will see some Sweet deals coming out of this? Seeing there are past ties and all.

It's the red button, right?

Kidding. :-) Smile and enjoy the gaming coming our way.

Sony sees that there is no money to gain from software sales and more Devs swaying to other consoles for better profitability because the PS3 has the lowest number of consoles in the homes. The only way to change this is to get consoles in homes. A sale of sorts. Screwed up and misguiding? Hell yea. So just know this. It's going back to 599. If you want one for 499, make it happen now before they are all gone. If not, don't worry about it.
