Seeing how alot of people have stopped playing H3..... Maybe that's a bit harsh. I'm sure it still has it's strong following. So let me speak for myself. I have not touched my H3 since CoD4 came out. Honestly, I don't see myself going back, except to download the maps, once free. So to me, Updates to "Fix" something that should not have been an issue with a franchise of this magnitude should not have been needed. I will be considerate because this was the first Halo on the new syste...
It's like they are scared to offend their hard core fanbase to put a well balanced mix of music on the game. Maybe another dev will step up and do the right thing for all, no matter how hard it may be to pull off.
I would love to get this game, but between the songs that came with the game and the DLC, I know about 3 songs. Not worth $169.00. I wish they would see there is a whole market waiting to embrace this game, but need to have music they know to encourage them to take the leap. Until they branch out form the Hard rock, they will never realize their potential.
And not news worthy in my opinion. Next story please.
So I expect no better from him.
But I need to see some diversity. I want to see Prince-Let's go crazy, Bruce Springstein-summer of 69. I know there a re licensing issues and such, but I like some of the old school stuff and as the game stands, there are a few songs I know and I cannot force myself to buy a game that I only know a handfull of songs on. Keep up the good work, but broaden your fanbase.
Instead of letting them ride on rumor and speculation, you had to insert your 2 cents and be a killjoy.
Why is THIS game getting all of this "Show it some love" treatment? If the game does not appeal to the masses, why are journalist pulling a Jehovah's Witness and bringing it up every chance they get? It may very well be a great game for the Wii, but this is the market Nintendo created with the Wii and with each passing day, we see that the casual market targeted is not willing to embrace an unknown title. Change the title to something like "Mario's friends, Zak and Wiki's Adven...
Good points. An exapmle of a game that came out on one company's system (PS1) and is making the Multi console rounds is Castlevania, SotN. Third party games have a chance of going anywhere, if the money is right.
Datel, I believe, made a USB Extreme for the PS2. You could save games to an external HDD and boot the PS2 from a CD/DVD and load games this way for play.
But seeing Live is a paid service, I should have more protection than a free service. MS stance is "Racist pay to, so why ban them?"
If you can find the good ones, (FFVII as an example), it goes for $120.00 and up. Give me a PSN download of $5.99, i'm good to go. Licensing is the big problem, but seeing how a company could use minimal work to port it and the recover the expenses by selling old properties. Bust a Groove, Poy poy, Suikoden, the list goes on.
With the library of PS1 games in the thousands (Best guess)what is holding them up in releasing more games there? The day FFVII comes out, I guarentee I'll buy it.
Except instead of the SC characters, you will get their cute furry Ewok look alikes. And instead of sword fights, you'll have mini games like Dance around the fire and Who touched my bushy tail. It will be Awesome.
You get what you pay for.... Oh wait. If you Pay for something, you should get better service than something that is free, no? OR is it that is you pay less for a console, you should expect faulty hardware with high failure rates (I just sent mine off in a coffin to MS). The 360 should make up it's mind. It's cheaper (In both ways) and it's online cost more with more downtime. THank you for helping me see the light inyourmom.
I can live with that. most of those came out well into the second year of the console. So, I can therefore accept that the PS3 will have it's, to quote xm15e2s, "AAA" titles in it''s second year. The way of the console. Until then, I'll be playing CoD4 (Either console) and UT3. One good thing about owning multi consoles is you don't have to blindly defend your choice. Either way, I'll have my AAA titles.
Man did this fall off the map or what? CoD4 came out and HUSH. It was originally a November release. Oops. Still, I miss some of the mechanics of Socom games vs CoD4. I missed the lean. Plus Customization and Sniping on Socom are better and the Stat tracking Kicks CoD4's tail. Yet I still Like CoD4 a lot.
The Wii (Though fun) is not designed to push any limits. All it has going for it is the Nintends name and games that come with the name. Motion control could be implimented on the PS2 for the same results. A mini game bonanza. Until the Wii can provide me with A HDd for storage, online that is easy (and free would be nice too) and graphics that impress, I will continue to put a minimal budget into this console. The point should be the Wii was designed with the casual gamer in mind, so you sho...
They took a game and perfected it on multiple systems with unique architectures. Other games say "This system cannot handle the raw power needed for this game or It's too hard to program for, Except the first party games. The fact that IW pulled this off, they deserve GotY and Developer otY.
Guess that means your keeping that 360 after all. LOL
Or your really not the PS3 Fanboy you claim to be. Gotta love the Haters.
