I agree with you there. At current conversion rates, £12.99 turns out to be about $25.86. If I can get the disk version at a fraction of the cost, and save disk space in the process, why would I do this? I agree. It kind of sucks that I'll have to go through uncharted again though. It was a good game, but this would suck for the legitimate people. If it means that cheaters would not get what they didn't earn, then I'm for it.
See how MGS:O has it's own online functionality, logon ID, structure... It may not be compatible. I would assume that if the game complied to networking standards, it would work. I have no Idea, but does Live chat/menu functionality work with PSO? I think it does.
What does the new disk bring to the table? Would I be better served not buying the new game and just sticking with the DLC? Unless the new game has some MUST HAVE content (Not just the music), I'll stick with the DLC.

This is my mind going, that's all. SC4 has Vader/Yoda, Apprentice and possible Kratos. If the PS3 gets an additional character, I would thin the 360 would too. The only one I can come up with now is the Arbitor with the plasma sword. That's the only MS IP that I can think of that would be very popular and The spartan was used in DoA, though not Master Chief.

With the line up coming (Already started with MGS4) including SC4, I have no room for this title. It had potential, like a year and a half ago. Plus, my 360 died (Video card), so my options are PS3 to play and Capcom is not giving them a fair chance.
Beta's are a chance for you to help developers test games and ensure the release is the best it can be, not a chance to sample a game for free. A demo is where you can sample the game, a beta is where your volunteering to help the company test the game. If it's not working, that's a part of beta testing.

I bought the DL version of Warhawk. That said, I was so disappointed with the limitations and restrictions that I vowed to never buy a DL game from the PSN if I can get a disk version. Your going to make me install it either way (GT5:P) and with the Disk, someone else can play too without destroying my stats online. DLC is nice, but those of us that play a lot of games would require massive storage and that requires money that could be used on games.
Loved dark cloud 2 and still play it on occasion. Would like to see a more open world though, instead of all the narrow path dungeons and forests. Add some co-op to it (just my wish list) and it's heaven. Speaking of great PS2 games I'm looking for, Bring on Champions of Norrath: Rise of the Ogres or some crazy #### like that.
MS and Sony are taking the right approach (if the rumors are true). The waggle control is fun, but should not be the building block for your console. It is a gimmick that works well, but having it as an add on option works better than having it as the primary option.

Maybe, demos come out as they do now, but Qore may get exclusive versions, or extended versions. That way, everyone still gets to see a demo of a game, but Qore may get a demo that last longer than 5 minutes or more than half the first level. You don't want to leave the non-subscribers with nothing, but you want to thank the subscribers with more.
I expect something like a Qore T-shire available for subscribers to wear in Home. Maybe skins for cars in GT5. Who knows.

I prefer the PS3 controller. I like the 360's size, but the PS3's layout and overall feel. I played Socom on the PS2 and got used to the R1 button for shooting. I played CoD4 on both consoles and can function on either. My preference is R1.
