Sucks for the modder who put all the time, effort and passion into this, but it's also good confirmation that GTA and RDR are being worked on in VR by Rockstar. (I think everyone already assumed they are though)
Maybe Rockstar will hire him.... buuutt, knowing them, they'll outsource it some craptastic studio like Grove Street, who butchered their Remastered Trilogy.
VR has made gaming exciting for me again. Now imagine games of Returnal's quality hitting PSVR2 and other headsets!
It's too perfect. Really surprised it hasn't been done earlier!
It'll come back. Madness returns. Always. :P
@hikoran ok, opinions. Youre entitled to yours too. :)
I didn't think it felt great and the bullet sponge bosses were more of a slog than anything.
I found it to be one of the most disappointing titles last gen. Complete style over substance. The art and animation was fantastic, but the game itself was sooo standard & generic. Absolutely nothing special about it as a game if you strip away the shiny art coating.
The flaw in the bubble system was that there was nothing stopping users from jumping between proxies and spam downvoting a user until it popped all of their bubbles. It was a good system in theory, but very much abused.
@TheRealTedCruz
Again, maybe you didn't read the article, But it was completely about a limited boxed edition release of the game.
This article is aimed at collectors who want to add this to their shelf of JRPGs. How is a streaming online service relevant to physical editions of JRPGs again?
If this had been an article about just the game, then maybe it would slightly more relevant. (but still trolling, based on your post history) ...
This is about a physical retail boxed edition. I'm not sure how your comment is relevant to this particular article.
JRPGs tend to be sought after in disc form and actually go up quite a bit in value when they're no longer in production. Especially with this being a small team and probably a more limited retail release than larger developers.
Wow, this was actually one of my earliest memories of gaming, on my ColecoVision, pre-Nintendo!
Yea, I'm the biggest Sony fan, I practically live in my PSVR, but I have no doubt that Switch will surpass PS4 by the time BotW2 or Metroid Prime 4 hit (lol if they ever hit?). Most likely earlier.
Nailed it.
The higher ups and investors needed to see a series of milestones set in place also, to show that they were on the proper track and timeframe to deliver a more impressive experience.
Either the timeframe wasn't being met or the attempted improvement wasn't impressive enough at the time of recent milestone reviews... so it got yanked.
Well that was certainly unexpected, but very much appreciated!
Mumbai locked theirs too.
At least they finally had the sense to take it from Pune and Mumbai and give it back to Montreal... but yea, gonna be a long wait! Should have done it from the beginning with such a beloved game.
The crazy thing is, Ubisoft Pune just locked their Twitter as private.
True, Thief started off as a great series back in the day!
I feel as if we had been....wait for it....robbed of a proper sequel up until now!
Because of his posting history, his statement is obviously sarcastic. He is mocking/belittling real world mental health issues in an effort of making a jab at Sony fans.
Regardless, this is a great intiative that gamers and companies of every kind should embrace. Many gamers do use games as escapism from depression and other personal issues.
Haha my son has one of these! Definitely would be fun to mod it. *Interesting fact - if you type in the Konami code, it'll do a special little Mario jingle
I enjoyed Joe Danger back in the day, it's pretty fun. What's amazing is how Hello Games went from a few of these rather simple games to the ultra-ambitious No Man's Sky!
What better time to release a game where Russia is the villain though? We don't talk about B̶r̶u̶n̶o̶ Russia, no, no no!
