@Nekroo91 I think the game Megaton Rainfall handled it pretty well. In it, you're godly like Superman, but you have to minimize destruction to citizens while fighting off the alien invasion. It is literally your healthbar, and it decreases as more citizens die. You can use powers to catch collapsing buildings to try and minimize casualties.

"Anyone that's played Horizon Zero Dawn knows that it has a fantastic melee system. It's responsive, fluid, and above all, makes every hit — even the ones that don't connect — feel satisfying to throw out. It also does a perfectly good job of showing off Aloy's expertise with a spear, and how her training and hard work left her with a skill second to none in her generation."
....then they pretty much go on to say that it could just be improved. If...
True. As long as we're free to berate this "valid opinion" in the comment section.
Wow. Yea, I was doing this design for fun this last year, inspired by Tiki culture. (unfinished)

What went through my mind was the Crash Bandicoot tiki mask guy and tiki mask culture in general. :\ The furthest thing from my mind was depicting anything racial in a negative way.
I think one thing I don't really see mentioned is, at least I think, all of the artsy transitions during the show were running on a PS5 and were actually showcasing its abilities.
Ouch! My wife doesn't mind me gaming every day, as long as she and the kids get attention. She's actually looking forward to playing The Last of Us 2 next Friday with me! :)
It said at the top of the video the entire time "PS4". They haven't shown the PS5 footage yet. I agree it was an odd way to talk about it. At least a tease would have been nice.
Yea Caddytrek, when he says "I'm not even into these types of games" he means Playstation games.
The hell with Avatar, Mr Cameron! You've been outdone! I already found myself watching less movies this gen bc of games like Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War etc. I prefer to live out great stories and experiences than passively watch. I think games have finally hit film quality in this next gen.
You were saying, Christopher???!!! Wow, what a show!
Took them forever to put it on sale on the US store! It was on sale for the EU store back on the New Years sale, and at least 1 other time. I had waited so long, I just knew the minute I dropped $60 on it, it would end up going on sale. Took longer than I thought though. I nabbed DQXI S and also DQ Builders 2 last night. Both great games!
I had 7 1/2 hours in the DQXI S demo, so I already knew I loved it. Glad my progress carried over.
@TimoTim I only tried it when it first rereleased as Forza Street, so who knows, maybe it improved since then. It was horribly simplistic, not worthy of the Forza name. Everyone was panning it. Who knows though... been a long time.
Lol, "Miami Street" that was just reskinned with Forza branding? No, that game is pretty terrible.
I'm not really into the Iron Man character, but loved the Iron Man PSVR demo. Guess I just needed to become him.
Apparently Josiene's vision of Halo differs vastly from ours.
(down below -I responded in the wrong place :P )
This should have been added to Nintendo Online today in celebration.
Man, together with SwitchUp and RGT85, he has been one of my top go to guys for reviews and previews since I first got my Switch, Nov of '18.
Yea, he'll do fine. People love him. But that does sting.
@septemberindecember Yea, texture loading in this instance, but even final textures don't look good at all in comparison to the original. Later in DF's video, they show that same texture load wait again, and there's ANOTHER intermediary texture load, before the final texture finally appears. (which still doesn't look that good) Hopefully a patch can at least fix those texture loads, but that won't fix the low textures that exist. It's an art design problem, as DF point...
@septemberindecember Did you even watch the Digital Foundry analysis? (someone posted it above, more than an hour before your comment) Their video is exactly where this came from, it's not just a screenshot. Check it out, from the 31 sec to the 40 sec mark it looked like that until they cut away to another scene. A 1 second pop-in would be a lot more understandable..... but 9? Are you really defending a 9 second texture load? Here, see for yourself.

Well they are making GTA Online on PS5 free for the first 3 months, so there's that at least.
