Where in the article does it mention the Wii U never mind whether there is a Wii U version in the works or not? This article is speculating on the PC version which no one knows if that even exists (it probably does). Why bring up three consoles in your comment that have nothing at all to do with the article?
If you didn't get a Wii U for Christmas you either already have one or you aren't loved.

A lot of games and consoles are region locked, I really don't see the problem. So I can't buy games or gamepads from another country what can I possibly do about that? Maybe buy them from my own country?
Gimmicks aren't necessarily a bad thing though. If you actually played a Wii U I'm pretty sure you'd change your mind.

I think Wii did more to pave the way for Kinect. Not technology wise, just the whole money side of things.

GTA Vice City came out when I was 11. I convinced my mum to buy me it. I spent hours and hours each day picking up prostitutes and killing them for my money back, stealing helicopters and flying them down the beach tilted so the blades decapitated everyone they touched. Not once have I committed a violent act, I've never had the urge to commit a violent act. Buying kids violent games isn't bad parenting, not teaching them right from wrong is.

I'm really quite glad the 3DS and Wii U don't have capacitive touchscreens. The extra price wouldn't have been worth being able to pinch zoom game maps.
Good to see at least one Wii U game on there and what a great game it is as far as I can tell from the demo. Also just like everyone else I can't wait for GTA5. And for some reason I seem to be really looking forward to Lego City Undercover it strikes me as a really awesome game.

I won't get into PC since they always get a lot more games than consoles and it's not technically part of a generation. As for the Wii U well I'm from the UK so some games that are out in the US aren't out here yet such as Scribblenauts and Ninja Gaiden so over here there are those games. But if you're American then those games don't count. There is Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2, Rayman Legends, Lego City Undercover and Aliens (I count the latter as the developers are bringing...

Yeah you're right. My Wii is just gathering dust now, I don't use it for playing videogames. I mean why would I? All those amazing games from Wii I can just play on my Wii U.
There were piles of 360's and PS3 when they first came out and they've done quite nicely.
@shutUpAndTakeMyMoney, Wii U will have better exclusives than PS4. Nintendo have the best exclusives every generation. Especially when they finally release the new IPs they're working on.
4GB is fine for most games on max and has been for a few years and it'll be a while until anyone needs much more than that. Games won't need 16GB for a long time.
