Really though, I was never sold on BUNGIE. They showed some potential w/ the first 2 Halo's but you can't tell me Halo3 did the series or the hardware justice. And that's the general consensus w/ most people I know.
Halo is the Hack n Slash of FPS. Its a twitch shooter. MS an BUNGIE don't care about innovating it, they don't want to alienate the fans, but that will alienate the hardcore gamers.

Fact of the matter is, MS needs to trash PSN because otherwise they could never justify charging 50$ a year for their overrated service. XBL - the same service that is free on PC!
I literally stopped playing this game for 360 - it was too ridden w/ bugs! The game hardly runs. When I want to play this game, I'll get the PC version, but never again on 360.
C'mon now people, at this point its pretty obvious the PS3 is a lot more powerful than the 360. Look at KZ2 - one of the best looking games for any console. The multiplayer has more players than Halo3(KZ2 = 32 players online)! Not to mention the maps in games like Warhawk and Resistance are more massive than anything i've ever seen on 360. The next Socom, codenamed MAG, will have 256 players!

It's funny to see people try and defend Halo, when actually good games, like MGS4 and GeoW don't need defending. And you know why, because those are legitametly good games. That's why you don't see as many people trying to call them out.

It really doesn't deserve all the praise it gets, it just gets sucked into the hype vacuum. It sells well because its one of the first multiplayer fps' for a console. Not to mention its kid friendly. Couple that w/ critics overrating the game (just like they do w/ all big games, MGS and GTA included), and you have a frenzy on your hands.

I'll tell you why this is never going to happen - the production costs would eat the hell out of the profits.
lets break it down
MGS4 = 50gb
DVD9 = 7.5gb
It would take, at the minimum, 8 discs, keeping in mind you need the game engine on each disc, which will take up even more space, unlike a blu ray where you can contain that all on one disc.
If 360 were to actually get MGS4, it would be a cut down version. Not to me...
Anything is better than the current god awful interface, I just think blatantly ripping off something as lame as Mii Avatars is a dumb idea and a weak response to Sony and Nintendo.
All I'm saying is that it was a cheap tactic on MS's part to announce a game that isn't coming out for its console in 2yrs, roughly about a year before the PS3 version comes out. They were just trying to steal some thunder from PS3, but they neglected to mention some important details like the ones I just stated.
Elveon is rumored to come to PS3, but Bioshock 2 and Baja are for sure coming to PS3.
I would also bet good money Prey 2 is coming as well, when Prey 1 came out the PS3 was in its infancy, now that its user base rivals the 360's there these games are going mp.

MS only showed games coming out in 08. PS3 is going to show more titles off. GoW3, The Last Canyon, The Agency, Resistance 2, R* Exclusive, Siren, KZ2, Twisted Metal, New Naughty Dog Title, INfamous, WarDevil, LBP, The Last Guy, Heavy, Rain, Socom, etc.

Yeah, prologue will be getting damage, weather, and trophies - in game soundtracks are a no brainer. You know there going to have more unlockable cars for it as well, they always do.
