How the 360's lineup is competitive, L4D2 and Splinter Cell are both on PC. Splinter Cell will also have to contend w/ Assassin's Creed 2.

Gears of War was already generic enough, at least Quantum is trying to throw in some more elements.

Am I the only one who doesn't have any love for this series? The new one does sound promising w/ the Uncharted comparisons and all, but the old ones got so repetitive. I played them for about an hour before I asked myself "what's the point, the story isn't even worth following."

L4D2 - better on PC. Don't have to pay for XBL. 50$ on steam. PC version actually gets patched.
Forza3 - Biggest new feature is Movie Editor(weak). Devs lied about it running at 1080p @ 60fps. 2 discs, yet still less content than GT5. 3 other racing sims coming out this year.
Splinter Cell - Will have to contend w/ Assassins Creed. Also on PC.
