Its no coincidence that almost all Blu Ray Players are fitted w/ ethernet ports.
More and more sites are making compatible versions optimized for the PS3 browser, there are several mp3 sites where you can download songs striaght to your HDD.
Hulu is the tip of the iceburg.
Well now would be the time for them to release some killer network games. C'mon, what's the hold up. The last good game I played was inFAMOUS. I don't care how desperate I get, I'm not getting Red Faction.
I think that instead of giving gamers a downloadable title that is essentially worthless they should credit people's accounts or write this time off and extend their subscriptions.
If you are try to provide a fee-based service than it is only right that if you can not provide that service your customers are compensated.
Crystal Chronicles has always been viewed as one of the weakest iterations of the Final Fantasy series
New Super Mario Bros. = 10sec novelty at best
Super Mario Bros. Galaxy 2 = I don't know many people that bothered to beat the first one
New Zelda = Zelda has been getting really dumbed down lately, the last challenging one was Majora's Mask
Metroid = The only one w/ some promise. We'll see what they have in store, but the last few m...
I think this movie has the potential to be the first game adaptation that is actually good. Sony's games have been known for their cinematic quality, and it's no coincidence that they also have a film studio under their banner.
Shadow of the Colossus is another movie they have rumored to be in production, and that game gets alot of love amongst the hollywood elite. Gullermo Del Toro constantly praises it as his favorite game and Adam Sandler even put it in one of his movies.

I follow the film industry pretty closely, and although I loathe HHG, this is accurate, but it has also been known for some time that Paramount was headed down this path.
What I find amusing is the fact that Paramount was initially one of the companies that took bribe money from MS to support HD DVD, hmmm, maybe if they would have embraced the future sooner they wouldn't have run into this problem, oh well, their loss is Sony's gain apparently.
I wouldn't call t...
I just wish MS would pay the same attention to detail in the game's plot as well as the books. I don't mind books, I think reading is only a good thing, and it helps to lift the stereotype that gamers are unsophisticated, but still, there is no excuse for the lack of story in titles like Gears and Halo.
I do love me some graphic novels though. World War Z is the best piece of lit I've picked up in a while.
Didn't even know people still played diablo 2, that games gotta be like 10 yrs old!
This game will most likely be atrocious no matter what console you play it on.
Honestly though, the 360 version is a little too detailed, it brings the jaggies out more. I kinda like the slight blur in the PS3 version. Its kinda like Digital camera's verse Film camera's. Film has more depth.
What's looking good? They haven't shown us anything.
The reason this news kind of worries me is that Bungie has a lot on their plate already w/ Halo ODST and correct me if I'm wrong, Halo Reach, I think it takes a little longer than that to make a decent open world game.
I recently played Red Faction, another open world FPS, and the SP mode was just too tedious to be fun. You spend 1/2 your time traveling from generic location to generic location, its actually faster to just walk than try and navigate the winding roads in a vehic...
Way to jump on the latest trend. I'm so sick of playing open world games. Mercenaries 2, Far Cry 2, Red Faction, Assassin's Creed, Prototype, Infamous, GTA+DLC, and soon, Splinter Cell and Crackdown2.
What is so wrong w/ just making a straight-up single player campaign?
I find that open world games are often lacking in detail and take forever to progress, and they usually aren't that rewarding. If you are going to make an open-world game, than you better commit y...
Honestly, I don't see why they can't make a great FPS for the Wii, they are capable, just not willing.
I think if anyone has the potential to make the first great game-film adaptation, it has to be Sony, a lot of their games are almost to movie quality w/ their cinematic quality. It's no coincidence that Sony has their own film studio.
Just look at Shadow of the Colossus, another PS game being dev. into a movie. That game has a cult following w/ a lot of people in the film industry, it was featured in an Adam Sandler movie and Gullermo Del Toro is constantly praising it.

Honestly, I think the fact that the colors are too vibrant makes Forza look a little too flashy and less realistic. And that environment they are driving in looks like they got the animators from shrek working on it.
Don't get me wrong, I still consider myself a fan of Forza, I'm just a little disappointed that their biggest new feature is a movie editor. I was hoping they were going to do more to progress the series.
Lets just hope their game doesn't go into dev. hell like the korean developed Huxley...
Usually not a good indicator of how hot a title is when you own it by default just for buying the console.
Anyways, I don't think it is so much that people feel threatened by Motion Control, I think we are all just sick of listening to Ms and Sony's lofty promises in order to sell their peripherals.
I also think that how you control a game will always be second to the actual 'content' of a game.
He doesn't have the charisma. The man is a voice actor. It just wouldn't be right.
I think if they can't get Nathan Fillion as Drake, they should get Eric Bana.
Then they could introduce Shia Leduche as his long lost son...wait a minute, I'm thinking of something else.
I mean, sure, its cool and all for the retro effect, and adding 4 players at a time isn't bad, but still, the gameplay itself is still like 15 years old! Once the novelty wears thin(about 10 mins) I think a lot of people are going to be wondering why they bought this game.
