I have heard literally zero about upcoming PSN content. It's the post holiday lull.
It was only a matter of time. But being a PS3 version I might actually use it.
I'm guessing it is just a way to bring the PSN video store to non-ps3 Sony products. This is corporate synergy, people! I doubt it will have any gaming implications, other than boosting the number of PSN "users".
almost like it vanished into... the "air"
#1 way to get more people in Home -- PORN
#2 way to get more people in Home -- pay them to login
#3 way to get more people in Home -- Trophy support for the games in each Home space.
Home *IS* mature content.
But I agree, Home could use an interactive pr0n space. Now THAT'S why they brought Dualshock back baby!
Including a crotchety old SAS captain named Price, change the title to Call of Duty: The Origami Killer and call it good?
I'm guessing they will all make it into some future DLC for the PS3 version or even a sequel.
Maybe a PSP port of Locoroco Cocorechoroorechomofosho... yes, that's a PSP title ported to PS3 and then BACK to PSP!
Ports are find and dandy, but I'd also like some fresh titles that aren't just "this sold well on PS3, let's make more money off this cow".
Please don't be a PSP port...
I still haven't played the first Borderlands DLC, I need to get sh!t done so I can play!
I'm not that convinced with 3D. For one thing, my wife has epileptic tendencies. For another, I'm not going to put on some dumbass glasses on top of my dumbass glasses I use to actually see.
IMO it is a way to get people to buy new A/V equipment. I'm not going to drop another several thousand bucks for a TV when I just spend several thousand bucks on a TV.
At this point 3D is a nifty toy. We are years before it will be anywhere near widespread adoption.
That's where people don't understand the difference between a "10 year lifecycle" and "10 years between console launches".
Again, I think these are mis-characterized (by Sony) as being the "best", when really they're just the most downloaded. In theory, I guess makes them the best since more people are buying them. But there are quite a few questionable games in here, and quite a few "better" (IMO) ones that are missing.
MGO was a flaming pile of turds, IMO. And I'm a big MGS fan. I was hugely disappointed in it.
Because it's not a "best of" it's really a "most downloaded" list, which is really more of a "most popular" than a "best of".
About as much as you are, I'd guess.
This looks more like the "most downloaded" than "best". I'm not sure that a couple rock band tracks could be construed as the "best" that the PSN has to offer in terms of DLC.
I'm glad to see some of the KZ2 DLC and Fallout DLC hanging in there. I just finally started playing through the Fallout 3 DLC and have been pleasantly surprised.
if it's anything like the first one, I'll be all over this.
