I agree with the article, if someone really cared about resolution, frames, and textures THAT MUCH then they'd be playing on PC. Graphics and hardware matter, but 90% of the talk is fanboy BS having a pissing contest. People need to get real lives rather than fanatic loyalty to million/billion dollar companies.
I can't talk about the PC version, but on console Firestorm was boring and so is Metro.... Locker is a much better infantry map in BF4. Would've love Kharg to be included and one of the Armored Kill maps.
That's such an idiotic response. All reviews are just opinions from people written down... nothing more or less. Her working for CBS, Vox, or some other million dollar company who's possibly paid to be nice wouldn't make the review anymore legit. Grow up please.

If Knack were geared at family gaming then it would have 4 player local co-op. I'd rather play NBA 2K on PS4 or X1 than Knack if my family were in the room with me. I'm not a Wii U fan, but that's the way to go if someone wants family gaming.
This doesn't look bad, but it does seem generic as hell. If you change their outfits then that could've been a MP video of Crysis. BF4 seems like it'll be way more fun.

I never really got what Rev3 was going for. A news/critical site like Giantbomb & Polygon, something like Gametrailers, or just a Youtube channel/video hub? Anyway, he's pretty funny on The Comedy Button. Probably the funniest guy lately. It's his life no big deal.

It's kind of their own fault. They put SC out on the same day as several other big/medium games then Rayman awkwardly between that and GTA.
I agree, I'm not a troll if you're directing that towards me.... the post was clearly sarcastic. Neither the X1 nor PS4 look all that impressive yet. In 2014 they'll probably be good, but their launches look sub-par. I'd rather not see so many hyperbolic and fanboyish articles on here. Comments are easy to ignore.

That's not why most people play the games and it's just a convoluted/messy storyline. It would be no big loss. Go to Japan, Egypt, etc... they don't need to be related to Desmond or anyone else.
Just drop it and explore different time periods... we don't need the ghosts of ancient civilizations and other BS as an excuse to enjoy a setting.
Neither of their lineups are all that great. There's really no reason to get a next-gen system this year other than the experience of getting one IMO. Knack and Ryse look lame, I don't care about driving games (Forza/Driveclub), and Killzone has never been all that good. DR3 could be good, but it's not worth an immediate purchase.
Their uniforms are pretty standard if you've watched other steampunk and/or anime things. It's close to stuff like D-Gray Man, Full Metal Alchemist, and others. They look good but nothing unique style wise.
In co-op focused games like Mass Effect 3's multiplayer this would be fine, Battlefield not so much.

The name of their site sounds like a PS blog... that's a bad name if they want us to think they're not fanboys. That's like "Wiimotes.com" comparing the Wii U versus the other two systems; I wouldn't take that seriously.
The question seems to be more is this being blown out of proportion just so fanboys can have a "good fight". I don't think anyone said 1080p doesn't mean anything. The fault seems to be more on the developers than consoles IMO.
