One year is a LONG time. Not the Yakuza couple months that we usually get with deals like that. This is a whole YEAR. By then anyone that wanted it would have had it AND it’s a mainline Final Fantasy. This isn’t some extra missions call of duty style.
This being exclusive was absolutely colossal. I’m STILL shocked. How do you get a mainline Final Fantasy exclusive in this day and age? Sony must have heard about the Zenimax deal before we did and needed to secure a huge RPG. Or maybe IF (cause I really don’t know) Sony still owns a portion of Square they went ahead and called in some favors or flexed whatever major share holder rights they have. Whatever the case, I’ll be on this minute one.
It’s still crazy that Kobe died. Man, life really is a blessing. Enjoy every day and let the hate, jealousy, envy, and general buttholeness go. Put more positive energy into the world before you go.
Microsoft as a whole is a money maker. Now if you look at each individual division you see that things aren’t rosy everywhere. The games division is one of Microsoft’s weaknesses in the grand scheme of things. Sony doesn’t have its hands on as many products that print money as Microsoft but same deal. They have different divisions, music, pictures, phones, games, etc. Games is a major win in profits for Sony. That’s how and why companies get out of one part of a business that isn’t getting th...
With my PS5 and Series X coming I could use a little space in between to make sure Astrobot, Demon Souls, Godfall, Sackboy, the free Bugsnax, and I guess Gears 5 and Ori on game pass have some time in the sun.
That PS5 load time is straight up bonkers. From the time the buttons were pressed for team selection it was completely loaded in what? 2 seconds? These side by sides are going to be crazy come next month.
That series X is nicely packed. Just a couple weeks.
Microsoft has a long way to go to get to PlayStation levels and on top of that PlayStation would need to leave a LOT of doors open to even make it possible. Doesn’t mean Series X is a bad system, nor Microsoft a bad company. It’s just that 4 100+ million selling consoles memories doesn’t disappear overnight AND there’s a reason. People don’t just buy PlayStation for a name, despite what naysayers think. It simply is the best GAMES console year after year. They aren’t trying to be a jack of al...
I immediately tried to find it or update mine. Jesus.... I guess this is what a crackhead feels like. Hungry for any little PlayStation high I can get 😞.
Don’t see how this can be a bad thing.
From UI advancements, unparalleled speed, and to actually pushing forward controller tech (again) Sony really did make a all around next gen experience. They said a long time ago that they would have to start looking at more than just pushing graphics to define each generation and start pushing experiences and how we interact with games. Next thing you know we had PSVR, touch pads, and Share play, and remote play to name a few. Now we have a next level SSD with I/O to match (which is the game...
Yeah, PS2 was nothing short of incredible. PS1 already set the world on fire. PS2 put the ashes in a neat pile and blew them up with a nuke. Although this makes me feel old as hell (39) I have literally seen and experienced some awesome eras and moments in gaming. Only thing I miss more than PS2 is the Arcade scene. I love getting that rage mail online, but nothing compares to seeing someone bash the arcade stick when you destroyed them in person in a fighting game.
So I’m glad AF with the store they have coming up (if it isn’t like that already) as it is exactly like the PlayStation store now. It took a long time for them to arrive at the conclusion that some things in life need to be simple. Along the left is the category, to the right is what’s in said category. I love it.
Outside of that dynamic backgrounds, the share button, a faster UI overall, auto HDR on old games, and quick resume is all there is to look forward to if you’ve a...
This list really shows how bad this gen was exclusive wise for Xbox. If anything it really drives home the point that exclusives matter ALOT, no matter how hard anyone tries to downplay them. While this is just a few peoples opinions, almost every game is also enjoyable on PS4. That means if you only had a PS4 you didn’t miss anything. Conversely if all you had was a Xbox you can’t miss what you’ve never had.
Difference is on Xbox you KNOW the competitions games exist, you SEE the r...
Well one label he is under is Epic records which is a subsidiary of Sony so that’s a win, He’s from Houston, I’m from Houston so that’s a win, and his album Astroworld is full of win. Have a couple drinks, nobody said anything about getting drunk, get a little buzz going and listen to that. It truly is sicko mode.
It’s a very nice looking game. That can’t be downplayed. Very detailed textures. The actual gameplay though.... It’s a lot of PC footage of Scorn in addition to the series X footage. It’s all nice looking, but Jesus is all of it boring as hell. I held out hope for a turnaround until yesterday’s footage. Only thing that can put this game back on my radar is a demo or a compelling amount of glowing reviews.
@ Unholy
I had a clutch preorder for the Disc PS5 on the first night preorders were available from Amazon. When Series X became available for preorder I got it on Amazon with one click. No refreshes. Hopefully they both hit on their respective launch days.... or a little earlier!
Only event on the 9th I’m interested in is the one where I make room for my Xbox Series X and while I’m at it the PS5. PS Pro and my dead Xbox One will be moving to their new locations. Game room and trash can (after I get the damn disc to eject) respectively.
That’s one sorry ass list someone put together. Of the whole thing only Scorn and Halo seem relatively close. State of decay has shown ZERO gameplay so far and Fable is a full CGI trailer. How about the game that has you controlling the character in two realms at the same time? That has actually shown gameplay AND it seems farther along than most of this list. It’s not my cup of tea, but it’s I think it’s exclusive. Better yet just change the name to “Series X exclusives to look forward to.” ...
Well this is embarrassing. I know it’s bad a lot more often than good but this is extraordinarily bad.
