PlayStation is setting the world on fire. There’s no mixed messages, no uncertainty. The PlayStation is universally blowing people away TODAY. No promise of tomorrow, no don’t worry you have stuff to look forward to. This is amazing.
Peculiar but a nonissue I’m sure. Tuesday and Thursday are quickly approaching!
Yoooooo damn.... we just going to start shooting like that? No warning?
With my PS5 and Xbox SX coming on Tuesday and Thursday I am pretty sure I’ll be just fine with my original launch switch. I don’t use it nearly as often as I did when I was grinding out all the Zelda temples. Buying it would simply be vanity at this point.
Why is nobody talking about this?! That shits just as fast if not faster than quick resume on Xbox?! This is more or less exactly what I thought it was!
Can someone please say what “switcher” is on PS5. Why does nobody click that tab or explain it?!
Framerate is a silky smooth 60 from the looks of it. It loaded fast in the first place so I’m sure that’s instant now.
The games they (devs) put extra work on like Days gone and Ghost of Tsushima will be phenomenal. They’ve been retouched to take advantage of the hardware. The PS5 is playing PS4 games flawlessly that haven’t been retouched, it’s simply brute strength that has games locked at whatever free max cap was for said game. I’m just saying the Xbox is loading the same games faster. Look at gamespots comparisons. Maybe it’s hard talking to someone that doesn’t know what they are talking about. How c...
Sony’s foot is on the gas and I am glad my ride starts on Thursday.
The real one. Not ONE back compat game or otherwise should load faster on Xbox than PS5. Period. Statwise it simply doesn’t make sense UNLESS it’s simply not optimized for back compat. I’m not basing this on just this vid, but gamespot did a game for game video and while I don’t like HOW they did it, most games were losing faster on Series X. Final Fantasy 14 was one of them. Even if you deduct a couple seconds for the menu stuff it is still clear Xbox loaded faster. Now several sites are say...
Looks like Sony’s approach to backwards compat was simply making sure it worked. They clearly didn’t put the effort in that Microsoft did to make sure it all ran faster. It can always be optimized in a patch and I’m sure it won’t take long to get it.
Like I said several times. It’s Series X, or nothing when it comes to these two. If you saved for a Series S, just hold on. You take your time and get that last $200. Who am I kidding, these kids are the microwave generation. They’d rather eat a TV dinner cause it’s faster than wait for a cooked delicious meal. I saved for a damn Neo Geo back in the day. I wanted my 2D fighters in the closest Arcade form I could get. Suddenly nobody wanted to play Samurai Shodown at the Arcade, on SNES, or an...
Actually I think that’s exactly what you’re doing. Hating on the PS5 and possibly PS period. You really are reaching to the point of being illogical.
Maybe it’s a language barrier or something that you’re struggling with. I’m not being flippant, I honestly hope it’s what it is.
Last of us REMASTERED at a discounted price a little over a year later from the original release. Tweaks on animation, gameplay, graphical updates, and spring cleaning. It sold great because last ...
Well let’s see if I can put that in perspective. Shadow of the Colossus, if you’ve ever played it is a straight up classic. Mind blowing from the first battle all the way to the end. It came out on PS2 and for it to be REMADE 2 Generations later (13 years) later. Not only did it withstand the test of time, it’s still breathtaking. It was breathtaking then because it pushed the envelope of what was capable back then. It had to be remade, not just updated/remastered so that you still get that b...
If my PS5 or Series X arrive in a Nintendo box I’m going to be thrilled lol!
Man they pulled no punches. They flat out put the PlayStation is a better alternative. It really is odd that Microsoft showed up to the dance all dressed up on the wrong day. They really should have had some games that said you need this system day one. Instead they are hoping to sell it as a ultimate Xbox one X and praying that these news sites don’t call them on it. I’m actually shocked most haven’t called them on it actually. Maybe they fear not getting the next console early to preview if...
Sony’s two equal systems will make PS exclusives incredible because 10 TF will be the baseline. That IS the minimum to take into consideration.
I get flak everytime I say it but I’m just being realistic. The Series S should not exist and every Xbox exclusive will have a 4 TF baseline. From there you slide up added effects to fill out your game. They already have some games at 720p on series S and the gen hasn’t even officially started for goodness sake. What’s going to happen when wh...
I will have mine day one and despite that, I fully know what to expect. It is definitely a system to get. If it’s ANY inconvenience to you to get it now, I’d say pass it up because, let’s be honest, you’re not missing anything at launch. If you have a Xbox One or any of its iterations then you’re good to go. Especially if you have a One X. If you REALLY want to play those same games with better loading, quick resume, and a share button instead of the Xbox one shortcuts then by all means get i...
Mine shows Tuesday but hasn’t shipped yet. Amazon has never been late for me and they won’t start now. That’s an off day and the Wednesday after it.
If the tables were turned, 100% exact same experiences in the opposite hands, Xbox only gamers would be having a field day on PlayStation gamers.
I’m going to enjoy my Xbox SX tomorrow, and it’s ok to be a fan. Just don’t be a blind one. I fully accept that the Xbox SX is Xbox One XX at launch. I am fully aware that it will be staying that way until the end of 2021 or 2022. I realize that Microsoft is pushing a new console with old experiences as the main draw. With all of this I kno...
