They blades are ok. They were to the point back in the day. What I really miss is the Xbox 360 starting animation. The green X landing across the ball. I’m glad I still get to see it when I fire up a 360 game in the series X, but man I’d like to see it remade in 4k with HDR.
Only way to get me to even slightly consider this is if my save transfers. I didn’t get to beat it but I got pretty far and pretty powerful. I did every side quest asking the way so I burned myself out. Even still, No way am I starting all over.
@EasyC
You my boy already! Metal gear solid 3 is one of the few older games that I can play from beginning to end like I never played it before. Metal gear solid 1 and 2 also but 3…. mmmm I am stilllll in a dream….. snake eaterrrrrrr!!!
Splinter cel Pandora tomorrow was the shit to me. Chaos theory too. The online in those two games alone would make me Rob for a remaster/remake.
Gran Turismo will burn you the hell out. That’s why I ski...
Personally I could never play through these games again. Don’t get me wrong AT THE TIME I loved the hell out of em. Beat every GTA, even the top down gta 2 and 1. Thing is, other than nostalgia (which wears off) these games will get been there done that again for me. Seeing the differences and how much better things look and feel will be great. Find a base, steal a fighter plane or attack heli. Go through the story to a point, Rob a couple hookers, and vibe out to some music. But against all ...
Same for the vita. Excellent handhelds. Maybe they weren’t as sturdy as DS. Only reason I can think of. I loved my DS, no doubt about it. Just loved my Vita/PSP a little more. Just wish it had more support for the titles I loved. Yu gi oh on DS had online. Yu gi oh on PSP AND Vita years later never had online. You had adhoc mode. Proximity matches. That’s it. DS? Fully realized online. Ranked matches, casual matches, practice matches. Not one either. Like 4 yu gi oh games had online. Vita ver...
@Sciurus
I said in my original post that side games/spin offs were times it made sense. Flight simulator isn’t a game in the truest sense. It doesn’t have a storyline to follow, characters to represent, so on. It’s Simulator. It’s been going since floppy disk. Totally different. Metroid Dread I know nothing about. I’m kinda over this whole topic to be honest. You guys are kinda proving me right at every turn and it’s really not that serious. I hope it’s good, I have gamepa...
@Ausbo
Funny thing is you brought up ignorance lol!!! Don’t know how you got a upvote. Valkyrie Entertainment is a art studio. They didn’t MAKE the game lol. Guess what secret6 is? A art studio!!! Now… since you’re on a roll… do you think Crystal Dynamics is a art studio to assist with Art direction…. or a game developer that is going to actually MAKE the game. Take your time. Don’t want to look ignorant here do you Ausbo…
@onlink
F zero X was on GameCube. Made by and published by Nintendo. Nintendo wanted to put Fzero in the arcade. That’s where the spin-off Fzero GX and then AX came from. The arcade board was made by Nintendo, Sega, and Namco. Sega had Arcade experience and made GX followed by AX. Point is they are all spin-offs from nintendos original game, Fzero X.
As far as Smash U it’s an anomaly. Sakurai and Harada are buddies. Nintendo lets Sakurai do whatever the h...
@Darth
That’s a spin-off (to my point- bonus points because those are two of the few companies still in the arcade industry)
@Ausbo
Hmmm…. The article is about Perfect Dark. You’re right. Who made Perfect Dark I wonder? Hmmm…. I know that game was on Nintendo systems but who bought that company??? Why can’t I remember…. Someone owns the IP AND the Dev….. crap forget it. I don’t know why I brought up rare. My bad.
And a third party partnership… That’s NORMALLY a side story (Halo wars) OR a whole new series (Sunset Overdrive). This is a mainline game. It’s Perfect Dark. Give me a...
Ok I know I’m going to get flamed for this but…. I always thought it was strange when companies have to go get a partnership with third party companies to make FIRST party titles. Not some side game like Zelda musou. That makes sense. But if Nintendo had Namco make the new true entry in the series it would be concerning. It’s like Microsoft doesn’t even know what to do with rare to be honest. Don’t get me wrong, game could be phenomenal. I’m not discounting it. But picture EA making the next ...
@Zhipp
Lol when you’re right you’re right. I got beside myself. When I see launch games at full price I can’t help but laugh.
I saw this the other day when I turned my switch on. Absolutely ridiculous. This is where I draw the line and get off the bus. I’ve had my switch since day one. Paid for the online, as bare bones as it is, and have beat a few of the classics I loved as a kid. This price however is a slap in the damn face. I need my phone to voice chat for gods sake. I just renewed my “basic” switch online subscription and NOT for the online mind you. For the classics. I have barely, BARELY played games online...
Time to delete some of this gamepass stuff I’m not going to play anyway and make room for one of my favorite racing series.
Jin….
As of July this year the PS4 sold 114 million. Xbox one around 50 million. Switch was at 86 million at that time. THAT is who switch is competing against. That is the gen switch released in a few YEARS ago. Throw PS4 numbers up there too. Sony and Xbox are exiting that gen. It’s still selling. Only thing PS5 and Series X are competing against is each other.
This is pretty embarrassing. 1) Steam is free. Don’t have to pay anything to use it’s services. It’s been so long and may have changed but you have to buy ONE thing on there to validate your account. Other than that there’s no paywall. 2) The Xbox app is nothing if you don’t have gold at the least. Then that’s even less than what you can do with ultimate. Even then it all pales in comparison to the literal sea of games on PC. While it’s true a lot of games are unrestricted so it’s a planet wo...
Apple Music is actually what I use so this would be great for me. I love my in game music 90% of the time but for those occasions when I don’t this will come in handy.
PS5 version sounds incomplete
Can’t wait til this hits a %90 off sale so I can try it out. Believe me, I’m in NO rush and I’m sure it won’t take that long.
Far stranger things have happened. Guess we will see.
