About all games that use amiibo require a amiibo related to that game to get a perk. Mario Kart needed Mario amiibo for example. The difference is 1) Amiibo cost from $10-$30 retail. Ridley for example is like $23. DLC for example comes with playtime for those prices. New areas, characters, expansions.

This amiibo thing has always been jacked up to me. If you’re a collector, aka big financial supporter of us, then we give you perks for your support. You other filthy casuals that ONLY buy our game…. thanks but spend more. Seriously though. Perks for preordering early, sure. Perks for having a save from the previous game in the series, sure. Perks for buying something that will be a paperweight after this game? Nah I’m good. Meaningful perks too. A health tank? Wow.

Ok so you see how you go to system, then audio settings then adjust the sliders to change master volume, chat game mix, and so forth? That’s all you manually going through menus for each adjustment. The system ITSELF has a menu to adjust things yes. I am asking for a headset that works on a system level to where I never have to see that menu again. It’s like splitting hairs on most of these things. PS5 faster by half a sec on Series S and almost a full sec than Series X. A whole second… insignificant. Ok I need help from the people that have bought Cbox headsets recently. (Last 2 years or less) I always use my PS4/5 headset on my Xboxes. Sound is fine and chat is fine but, to nobodies surprise, there is no controlling chat vs game audio and so forth like it is on the systems it was designed for. Not hard to boost critical condition. The real question is, free* or not will it remain interesting? Will people keep playing? Repetition is this games issue. This *boost* is delaying the inevitable.
Man I feel sorry for you guys with slow Internet or can only connect on wifi. I’m usually running between 350 mbps to 875mbps. Takes me less than 10 minutes to download basically anything. I agree the timer shouldn’t start until the first launch. I understand I’m probably in a minority. I start things to downloading through the PS app for my PS5 or Gamepass app for my series X and it still shocks me how fast I get the done notification sometimes.
Aaaaaand boom. Just like that I’m glad I didn’t buy it on my PS5. I don’t know HOW I knew it was going to come on gamepass. Don’t know if it leaked or what but somehow I knew it was going on gamepass pretty quick. I think the PS5 version has some minor graphical advantages and I liked the controller during the demo buttttt I’ll be just fine with this price. Time to open the gamepass app and get it to downloading on my series X.
Had to give you a upvote. I fully agree. The cloud only works good enough for turn based RPGs like yakuza for me, but it’s still time spent doing what we all love. Eh, I think it was all just to show the mobility of cloud gaming. Each scene had a meaning to convey, I just think the scene with the kid pulling out the PlayStation controller and playing on it was because of my original post. I think it’s smart, but an accident.
lol that’s interesting. I guess technically that’s true. PlayStation is the biggest brand and has the most preferred controller by proxy. Letting people know you can play using the input device you’re used to is a good move. Can’t help but see this as a mistake though. Seriously doubt Sony would sign off in this.

Halo 5 is hands down the worst campaign in the whole series. It’s straight up boring as hell.
Multiplayer is good, not great. That campaign though…. And you know coop normally makes things better cause you have a friend. Um no.

After Microsoft bought Bethesda I seriously don’t think any kind of deal for early content or timed releases is bad anymore. That topped everything so now none of this little stuff matters in my opinion.
