Man I HATE videos like this. I don’t want to hear any philosophical ideas and what ifs. Crap like this makes people come up with their OWN grandiose ideas because they are trying to make sense of your vague dialog. Explain the game in actuals, show snippets of the game, not past games, and stop being pompous for the sake of being pompous. Nobody has a damn clue what this game is about, like, or does and this video changed none of that.
I think some people are just soft as wet tissue paper. I get more emotion out of hearing the Halo theme than this entire trailer. Show Master Chief from behind sitting down somewhere like he’s tired. Give some close ups of the armor being all battle scarred. Have an explosion go off somewhere and some alien dialect in the distance. Have chief grab a BR that’s sitting next to him and cue the Halo theme. Cut to some slow motion slaughter with the music in the background and bam. Dramatic and aw...
Yes Blades, those too.
Oh yeah this is the super robot wars competitor!! Definitely looking forward to this. SRW is my jam.
When actually utilized. It’s obvious when it isn’t.
This game was actually interesting, I just had too much too play at the time. Literally creating your own death machine, strategically trying to hide its weaknesses, and melting the competition is as fun as it sounds. Glad to see it’s still kicking. I think my quick dabble was in season 1 or 2.
That’s a looooot smaller than I thought it would be. I know it’s a mini fridge but I was thinking college dorm, office at work size. This is like 2 cans of Coke size. Maybe 4 if you put them on top of each other but I doubt it.
I think Halo is in a good place when the game itself is good and fun but the things “outside” the game need work. Shouldn’t be hard to fix. Can’t wait till my next off day so I can have a running riot.
This game looks hype, the drip feed is real though.
Once it hits the ultra bargain bin I’ll try it again. Getting the refund on that over $100 version was the best move I ever made.
@spice
I agree. Maybe you aren’t aware. Forza was a few days early for people that preordered and paid full price. So did us gamepass subscribers get it Day one or not? What’s stopping anyone from saying X game releases on December 20th and it will be on gamepass day one, but those that preorder for full price get it a week earlier? So did gamepass subscribers get it Day over it not?
@Automatic79
Well automatic, the only person that isn’t sensitive about all matters Xbox, you shall.
Guys calm down. All I’m saying is game pass said I’d get everything day one on gamepass. I’ve been having gamepass on my series X and I don’t particularly appreciate them giving Forza away early to people that put down the money for it. Day one is day one. Hopefully Halo is a day one, otherwise I’ll be waiting like I did with Forza for the non paid day one. Cool out defense force. I’m clearly a supporter.
As long as it’s on gamepass I’m there. I’m not paying for any Xbox exclusives. That includes add ons or whatever this would be categorized as. I don’t mind not being there day one. They can pull all the Forza “preorder and play a few days early” tactics they want.
The pricing is what’s hilarious to me. I have thousands of matches played in Tekken 7 and it’s one of, if not IS my favorite Tekken and I’ve played them all. Only one I think might rival it is 5DR. That being said, the game released on console 5 years ago! How the heck can you charge people this much? Lol. I have almost all the DLC characters and they are extremely different from any of the characters already in the game. The guest characters are good also. That pricing though? Insane.
I’ll definitely try out Godfall. It looked mediocre from the trailers before launch and I’m glad to see it didn’t disappoint. Starts off fine but gets repetitive exactly as I foresaw. At the same time, I’d gladly try it.
Oh well basically one or two people out of 8 total people spawn in as Androids. They have to kill all the humans as covertly as possible so they won’t be outed. Humans need to finish all objectives OR discover/kill all the robots to win.
It is FAR from sims. It’s more like among us.
@DB
I’ve wrote that same thing a few days ago. They spending money like it’s going out of style on themselves. “Once everyone’s houses are paid off we can end this sham….. after one more company trip to Hawaii”
@ Phoenixwing
Exactly. Literally let you psych yourself to the point that you’ll be happy no matter WHAT you saw. The old Cyberpunk tactic. Folks created so many theories and hype on nothing that everyone ignored the red flags. Whenever they drip fed info that wasn’t what you expected your hype pushed that out the way and held on tight to YOUR other created gameplay visions.
