Exactly my point but I guess a lot of people are emotionally attached to stalker or are so desperate to play a game that they’ll accept anything. Properly compress your games or I’ll wait till it’s on gamepass or psnow/plus. There’s too many other games to play. It’s ok to miss out on one.
Tell that to modern warfare and warzone. I had a TON of fun on it. Once it got too big that even uninstalling the optional parts had it over 150 GB I tapped out. Haven’t looked back since. False sense of morality? Not exactly. I am the type that speaks with my money. No point in complaining about something if you’re going to support it anyway. The technology is there, use it. No way should COD be that big. No way should Stalker 2 be that big. I think it’s laziness.
They are talking about the PS5 having a chip that is solely dedicated to ultra fast decompression. This chip is totally its own thing. Has no impact on the systems resource consumption. Normally the cpu would use resources to decompress/compress data along with everything else it does. When you look at Flops some of that is going to decompression. I’ll tell you what. I’ve got about 2 terabytes on my PS5 and I STILL wouldn’t get this game if it takes up that much space. They better use the compression tech and get that wayyyy down if there is any truth to this rumor. Game looks good, but it’s down right offensive to take up that much space. Hell, I struggle with keeping flight simulator on my series X. Once I have a need for flight simulators space, it’s gone too. Difference is I didn’t *pay* for it to eat up my storage.
Yeah. I seriously doubt Sony will allow this in the future. Getting the game with the sub and having to pay for optional dlc is one thing. Getting a add on free and having to buy the game separately is another.
Something tells me not even Sony realized what the “Challenger Edition” was. I would have assumed it was the full game with added content. Like a expansion. Anyway, not the end of the world.

This not ok, at the same time it’s expected. With it being a free to play model it’s going to have issues. Every free to play game does. Eventually the good ones get to smite, league of legends, Warframe levels of reliability. Anyone that was around for the early days of those games like I was can testify…. it wasn’t always easy to complete a game.

Sheesh…. I’d rather have a full free game but…. when it comes to Godfall this is actually fine by me. If reviews are anything to go by, the game is grindy and repetitive. If they would have gave the full Godfall it’s NO way I would have seen endgame content. With Tales of Arise and Dead by daylight (still) taking up time on PS5 and Halo with Forza taking up time on my series X I would have never played long. With this “instant endgame” version I can skip all the grind.

I played League for 5 years and between the trailers and the show my mind has associated ALL their music with league of legends OR songs they wish League would pick up. Maybe the league fighting game will have a deeper reveal. Who knows. All I’m saying is LoL will be there.

Well let me go get these downloaded! I loved dynamic themes on PS3/PS4. If PS5 is never going to get dynamic themes then I hope they at least add animation to each slide to accompany the music of said slide. Just seeing the OG Xbox theme on my series X had me happy. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t life altering or anything. It’s just a nice little addition.

That is a respectable size. Can someone working on call of duty give Microsoft or Sony a call. These guys have figured out how to put amazing games in a reasonable amount of space.
The vocal Xbox community begged for crossplay and here we are. Saw this from a mile away. Cheaters in Halo, cheaters in dead by daylight, cheaters in COD, cheaters in battlefield. Remember when someone would snipe you and you’d be impressed? I remember those days. Now you can’t wait to see the kill cam just to find out you were no scoped from behind a mountain 8 miles away. Ahhh the good old days.
If you have a opinion that is anything short of glee Xbox fans, PlayStation fans, and Nintendo fans think you want to see something fail. They show a video that’s almost 8 minutes with a title called “into the Starfield” that shows nothing and talks about nothing. Someone says dang. I wish they would have at least gave some things that are doable in the game at the least. “He just wants the game to fail!!!”
Definitely a really good game. I think the difference maker is the graphics and the music. Richter was a hell of a lot more agile in his game. Simons game was slower, but damn was that music dramatic and the graphics were next level.
