Everyone talks about money hatting, well here’s another game Microsoft “money hatted” after it had already been shown running on PS5 along side the PS5 collectors edition on YouTube. That’s how close it was when Microsoft pulled that rug. In fact it was the ONLY shown version, yet here we are right at a year since the Xbox release. How much does it cost to shelf a game that’s THAT close to release? For a year? Now the games gone free to play already? Need more players immediately obviously.

Day one

It’s gone from 3rd party to first party and dropped a console from its workload…. I mean…. it getting support from Microsoft internal devs that couldn’t figure out Halo splitscreen is a given. It’s in the family.

Tf? This is a crazy connection.

Hell naw…. They going to have you subscribing to windows. I really wish I could see into the minds of people that support this bs. It’s obviously terrible for the industry. This has all done irreparable damage to my view on Microsoft. How they fell so far since the 360 is incredible. Damn I hate they have elder scrolls but this will be my last Xbox. I’ve always been big into gaming and never wanted to miss out on anything. Walked dogs to get a turbografix. Cleaned driveways for a Neo Geo. Su...

Literally says gaming isn’t their thing, their strengths are cloud and subscriptions. Cloud and subscriptions. They want you to own nothing and pay to play everything. No gaming company has invested LESS into their own gaming efforts than Microsoft. No money into new IPs. No money into building teams. Had the spent billions on GAMING and pushing the genre forward there would be no need to try and buy everyone else’s hardwork. I mean, hell let’s think of it.
Halo was bought. It was go...

What the Bethesda heads don’t get is Microsoft says anything to get past the FTC and any other watchdogs. They will make a deal and bring COD to PlayStation for a set period, then it’ll be treated the same way as the Bethesda games. Stop all production of PlayStation titles. To me, this is the biggest revelation. Bethesda WANTS their games on PlayStation. To hear someone else can do it but they had to stop everything instantly mid dev cycle would piss off anyone.

Microsoft ...

Online is in a totally different position than it was then. Technology changes fast and people’s taste change even faster. I personally bought the collectors edition of FF15. It was one of the last games if NOT the last physical game I bought. Or Persona 5. Whichever came last. On PlayStation it tells you how many friends preordered whatever title you have highlighted. It was 60+ on my list. Game and Baldurs Gate 3 (another of my highly anticipated titles) is sitting at 49 on my list currentl...

This is simple. He thought PlayStation made too much money to be locked out. This was AFTER the deal was made. He thought like we thought with the Bethesda deal. Maybe the series that were already established would continue to come out on PlayStation and the titles in the pipeline would still be coming on PlayStation. Then Redfall happened. (Thank god). HiFI Rush happened. Starfield happened. Things that publishers would know about but we don’t behind the scenes probably happened. THAT is wh...

I just cannot see how people defend Microsoft and their double talk. Hell, triple talk. I always get every system day one as I am one that doesn’t like to miss a big title. Xbox one was the most disappointing system I’ve had in a long time. With Series X I felt like Microsoft was heading in the right direction. Especially when they added individual devs to their fold like obsidian. First part development would definitely give them bigger budgets and even better quality. This buying publishers...

Those acquisitions aren’t free. They want to piss off American games LAST. That increase is coming.

Who in their right mind wouldn’t have a heat sink when it is part of the requirements? Those guys play some dangerous games. And overheating issues? Where’d you see that?

Just an FYI, this isn’t your typical demo. You don’t want to get parts spoiled right? Well this demo is the ACTUAL game. You literally play the first 3 hours give or take of the ACTUAL game and your save works on the final game. So you’re not spoiling anything. You’re just playing the game early to a point.

Game is incredible. What a chunky section that really shows the epic you’re buying. Music, graphics, story, gameplay. Simply incredible.

Couldn’t get into it. Shame. Reveal and first trailers had me so hype. Time did what time does and it looked more and more mediocre every showing. Finally a demo and it’s exactly how it felt in the videos. Mediocre. I think it’s just late to a party where everyone dresses and acts similar. They’ve already told the jokes it’s telling, and in most cases, better.

It’s a yes from me because they have bundle pricing. Buy a year and save.

This is one of the many major differences between Sony and Nintendo versus Microsoft. You’ll see a Sony showcase or a Nintendo one and think “wow that’s it?” When in reality those are games coming out within the next 6 months or so. There may be ONE or TWO year or more out games in there but those are usually blockbusters and usually just a year out. Final Fantasy 16 (which if you hadn’t played the demo you’re nuts), Spider-Man 2 (the first time it was shown about a year ago), Wolverine for e...

Right. It takes time to make games. That’s why instead of make them all these years due to poor management, they decided to skip the work and buy up companies so whatever they already spent years working on could suddenly pop out the oven with a “ Here at Xbox we work hard to deliver….” like they had anything to do with it.
