Hold on to that Android phone or wait for the Galaxy 3 to come out later this year with the Kal-El chipset that will have all of that AND hi resolution gaming ;-)

And you know why it will run 30fps and not 60fps like COD?
1st: BF3 has a destructible environment thats mostly NOT scripted
2nd: The game engine uses mostly real time lighting and effects(console) the PC version uses ALL real time effects
3rd: Graphic engine is VASTLY superior to MW3 engine which is nothing more than a re-skining of previous COD engines.
4th: BF3 will allow you to operate practically every vehicle in the gam...

MW3 will sell a lot more. Thats the sad truth. Its a CASUAL FPS game that is easy to play and rack up kills.
It's one of the reasons so many 12 year olds and younger play it.
It's one of the reasons it sells so well.
Its no KZ2 or Operation Flashpoint or BF series.
Quality wise BF3 will blow MW3 out of the water...however sales wise, MW3 will be bought by millions of legion fans thinking its the best FPS ever...even with its dated features and game engi...

Windows 8 runs on top of Windows 7 from what I understand...so in sense you can switch back and forth.
It will also be able to run on ARM processors as well.

So I assume Sony brining out a motion controller that looks similar to the Wii Remote was not going for the casual audience demographics that Nintendo scoped up this generation and totally decimated Sony and Microsoft market share? NAAAAAAAAA. Sony would never do this. Think about just money and its shareholders. They work and build electronics for free

Nintendo had been working with motion controls and other motion related concepts well before the Playstation brand was a concept model or a thought in the minds of Sony.
Sega even before this.

It's called competition. Without it, game creativity would die becsue the one company left would have no reason to make the effort to secure or create cutting edge games...because they would be the only "game" in town...
This is why we need a Strong Xbox or Strong PS or strong Nintendo.
Competition drives the evolution and revolution of products. Without it we would still be stuck with $600 consoles and single threaded games etc.

The user base for COD is huge and they love and crave aim assisted, easy almost laughable easy FPS games. Give them a game like KZ2 or Operation Flashpoint, Arma 2 etc and the COD clan will implode in Noobness.

If I remember correctly, when Kinect was announced, MS said it would also use controllers...obviously 99% of the N4G.COM community seemed to miss that point :P
Anyways, we have go wait and see what possible product this will be...might not even be Kinect related.

Most ports to the PC lack so many possible features that the PC has over these consoles its almost ridiculous.
Your right. Mobile gaming is on the rise. Faster than console gaming when they pulled the stats.
Mobile gaming for Tablets and Cell Phones for example is exploding. Regardless if its dedicated handhelds gaming units or Cell Phones, mobile gaming is on the rise and consumers are buying them
