It has 512 megs of memory..its just split into two separate memory pools.

The game looks amazing and easily is shaping up to be one of the best looking multi-platform games and stacks up there with any exclusive games easy.
DICE did an amazing job with this game and its engine to be running on consoles looking this great.

Looking at MW3 dated visuals, physics....
Maybe they needed to go in another direction...

This patch will be released before BF3 hits retail...That's the only thing they can claim BECAUSE WE HAVE ALREADY SEEN DEMOS OF BF3 RUNNING IN PRE-APLHA WITH FULL DX11 SUPPORT...
Now saying that, until Crysis 2 includes almost full environmental destruction in real time like BF3 and can claim that the Cryenegine 3 was built from the ground up using DX11, there claim is...well just THEIR CLAIM.

Those same people then go out and purchase games for $60 a pop...

Gears of War was released well before Uncharted AND was in development WELL before Uncharted was in development. Gears of War was released in 2006. Game development of said game started in 2003-2004.
Well before Uncharted. Uncharted released in 2007.

Good god people. The differences between console games are so minimal you need to put your face up to your tv to see the differences.
You want to see big differences between games? Then play almost any PC version of the game to its console counterpart.
That's where you see the difference.
Not console versions.
They look almost exactly the same.
If you were to put all these games on TV screens and not label them, you would be hard pressed in 99% ...

If Sony was the only console in town, WHY would 1st party developers spend the time and money making games the best they could if that was the only system? Why would they spend the extra money to do so? They would have NO competing company.
Its simple tactics of economics.
One of the BEST games on the PS3 is the Uncharted Franchise...

Having all lighting and effects and physics in Real time is bloody impressive
Use the Cryengine 3 or Frostbite 2.0 engine or the Unreal 4 engine for the next Duke Nukem.
