The dedicated gaming market is shrinking fast because of these Tablets and Smartphones. Recent data back this up fully.
If you look at the numbers and demographics it is very telling as to where "mobile" gaming is heading...for better or for worse.

The irony is KIDS won't even buy BF3 as the game actually requires skill to play unlike COD games.

If the Wii-U is running the rumored 4xxx series GPU inside the machine with 1.5g of Ram as the rumor states, then it will be able to handle any one of those games and do so at 1080p.

Those Nvidia chips you mentioned are actually more powerful than whats inside the Vita.
Kal-El the first of Nvidia's move to Quad core chipset has more GPU cores than whats inside the Vita.
The GalaxyS 3 will have that chipset and be released before the end of 2011.
In 2012 Nvidia releases Wayne. 2013 they release Logan.
All these chips will be significantly faster than Vita and most likely these SuperPhones running it will have more than 1gig of ram.
I am actually more excited in seeing what the new Xbox does with Kinect.
A more powerful Xbox system and updated Kinect system in an all in one system could be amazing.
18-35+ demographics are buying ipads, iPhones, Android Phones, Tablets and the likes more than dedicated hand-helds for MOBILE ON THE GO GAMING.
All one has to do is travel on the local transit system or go to your local Airport or Train Station and you can see which consumers are using what device for their mobile gaming fix.
The 18+ age demographics are using their Smart/Super Phones and Tablets more so for mobile gaming than dedicated hand helds.

This generation of gaming has brought us DLC and micro-transactions to levels never before seen.
The rise of cheap mobile cell phone and tablet gaming has had a negative effect on dedicated hand held gaming unfortunately. It's unfortunate imo that this is happening but you can see where this trend is going.
Mobile gaming is changing the landscape for hand held gaming but not for console gaming as of yet.

It's about marketing your top tier products to the masses even if its just mentioned in an afterthought by a major company.
