I honestly don't think so. The gap in power on this new gen isn't as massive as it was last gen (comparatively speaking), so I think the PS4 and Xbox One won't last as long, tech-wise. The Wii U even less so, so I expect Nintendo to - once again - be the first out of the gate NEXT gen.
NOBODY wanted to publish Bayonetta 2, dude. Then Nintendo came in and said, "ok, we'll do it. Having a few third party exclusives could be good for us".
They didn't "steal" anything. Your "logic" is ridiculous.
What's this Capcom fighting game you're talking about?
Also, as far as I know, we don't know whether if Miyamoto is actually working on a new game or not. He just said several months ago that he would like to work on a small new IP, that's all. Let's hope for the best. :)
Yes, I would feel annoyed, but still I wouldn't react like that, considering Nintendo is publishing two of my games.
No matter how you spin it, this was utterly unprofessional from Kamiya's part. Period. He fucked up big time here, and I don't think Nintendo will be happy with this.
Remember, Nintendo is PUBLISHING two of Kamiya's games, so the dude needs to learn some restraint. Did you ever saw Fils-Aime or Iwata or Miyamoto tell Nintendo fans to "fuck off" because they were asking for Earthbound?
Nope, never. And you can bet your ass the dudes screa...
Kamiya is making two exclusive games for the Wii U, both of them PUBLISHED by Nintendo.
So, saying "fuck off" to Nintendo fans just because they ask for one of Kamiya's characters to appear in a Nintendo game? Incredibly irresponsible and stupid from his part. I don't think Nintendo will like this at all.
...
...dafuq did I just read?
Uh... that was a incredibly stupid move, Kamiya. Your company is making TWO exclusive games for the Wii U, so it's definitely not wise to insult any part of Nintendo's fanbase.
I wonder how Nintendo will take this.
I hope it's a mix of gameplay and CGI. Just like Brawl's reveal trailer, which was all kinds of awesome.
Ok, I'll gladly bite.
I'm not the one stating, matter-of-factly, how this year's E3 will turn out for any of the big three companies. It's you. Where did you buy that cristal ball? I would like one of these.
You make a grave mistake of assuming how the future of Nintendo will turn out based on the ACTUAL state of things.
Want to talk about actual FACTS? Ok, here we go.
1. People took for granted that Nintendo ...
My sincere congratulations, dude, it must be great, expecting your first son/daughter!
But seriously, don't go over the speed limit, ok? We don't want any tragic shit to happen, and a videogame conference definitely isn't worth risking your life. ;)
It doesn't NEED to offer a better game experience just because it has Gamepad support. If the developer is lazy, or just don't have the time / money / motivation to make gamepad-centric features, or if the game simply doesn't lend itself well to touch screen features... just add off-screen play and Pro Controller support and done.
Having a touch screen in the controller doesn't FORCE developers to use it if they don't want.
:)
...except for the fact that it's just, like, your opinion, man.
Lol. While I don't necessarily agree, that still made me chuckle. Bubble up for funny. XD
Ok, so I guess this year the GOTY awards will be fought between Last of Us, Grand Theft Auto V and Bioshock Infinite... I wonder if Nintendo will put out something this year that contends with such heavy hitters? Something like a 3D Mario, perhaps?
Nonetheless, this year is pretty good for gaming in general. :)
Bitch, please. Mine is a 2008GB white unit - as in, 8 GB plus 2 TB hard drive.
:P
Well, I got a 2 TB external hard drive for 90 bucks, which works perfectly with my 8 GB Basic Wii U model. I'm quite happy with that. :)
While I don't know for sure, I don't think that would be a problem. The Wii reads Gamecube discs without any issue after all, so I don't see why it would be different for the Wii U.
I believe the Wii U is perfectly capable of running Gamecube games natively, because its components are basically an improved and supercharged version of the Wii's components, which were basically an improvement over Gamecube's components. That's why they have perfect backw...
Hi, Incubus! :D
Just a matter of opinion, I guess. I've played Origins, and yes, it's a damn good platforming game, but not the best to my taste (although pretty close).
Nah, for me both Super Meat Boy and New Super Mario Bros. U are better platformers than Rayman Origins, because they had more precise controls and tight gameplay. Rayman Origins absolutely shines on level design and artistic merit, but the game physics, while good, are not on par wit...
But the demos will be playable on Nintendo World Store, in NY.
