What. Correct that at once. I assume you already played Galaxy 1.
You think it was good? Well, Galaxy 2 mops the floor with it.
;)
Hey, be a little more fair. The first half of 2013 was absolutely horrendous in terms of games for the Wii U, and nobody can deny that.
But for the next 6 months?
New Super Luigi U, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Zelda Wind Waker HD, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and Super Mario 3D World are all Nintendo exclusives coming out THIS year.
That without mentioning a few third party games, as well as some eShop indie games that are all releasing t...
You say that, yet Nintendo games are the ones that comprise the majority of best selling games of all time.
Name me a single Sony or Microsoft game that has broken the 20 million units sold mark. Nintendo has not one, not two, but SEVERAL of them.
Go ahead, try.
Isn't Ryse is an Xbox exclusive? 0_o
Well, there's still Zelda, Metroid, Star Fox, Kid Icarus, F-Zero, Ballon Fight, Ice Climbers, Punch Out, Mario Strikers, Mario Golf, Mario Party, etc, etc, etc... trust me, Nintendo has such a absurd shitload of IPs to fall back on, they could revive any of them at any moment to give us more good games.
And the true Wii U Zelda is already in development, Wind Waker is just to tide us over until then. And it's pretty likely Metroid will come in one form or another late...
"you do realize this 3d mario isn't being made by the mario galaxy team right? this was a quick fix to help the system this holiday."
Actually, Super Mario 3D World is being made by Nintendo EAD, who are, in fact, the dudes behind both Galaxy games, as well as 3D Land.
You guys (yugovega and Raccoon) are going pretty much like this:
-"HURR DURR Y U PLAY THE SAME CUTEY CARTOONY GAMES OVER AND OVER HERP DERP"
<...
"Unite"?
"Destroy"?
"Allies"?
Dear God, you're exactly the class of fanboy / tool I never want to become.
Ugh.
They showed actual gameplay on the Direct, bro. Right after the obligatory CGI trailer.
You should practice what you preach, mangler.
You're hilarious.
Wii U? Sure.
But PS4? Really? We don't even know what the PS4's price will be yet, so how did the guys came to this conclusion?
Yeah, I've read those statements by Nintendo. It was Iwata who made them, if memory serves correctly.
However, I don't believe them for a second. I don't think Nintendo is anywhere close to being broke, far from it, they have loads of money and experience. But if the unthinkable were to happen, and Nintendo dropped out of the hardware race sometime, I'm 100% sure they would go third party, regardless of whatever Iwata said with his japanese pride.
When I was playing it the first time, I started it on the Wii, but a while later I transferred everything to my first Wii U and continued playing on that console. I honestly didn't notice any difference at all, on the Wii U it looked identical as it did when running on the Wii.
However, there's quite a lot of people stating that they've appreciated a big difference between running Wii games on Wii U vs. Wii. My theory for these discrepancies is that the experience...
Lol, holy shit. Then you definitely have a LOOOONG way to go. Bionis' Leg is barely the beginning, dude, you need to make it all the way to the Mechonis!
:P
And mine, buddy. And mine. :3
Boy, am I glad that I bought a copy of Xenoblade in Walmart (don't ask me why in the hell was that game in a Walmart, but it was... but I'm not in the U.S).
Yes, it's absurdly impressive that Xenoblade sold ALL of the copies that were out. Now it's literally impossible to find it new in any store in the world. There just aren't any. 800,000 copies sold for a game that was so limited in its availability is quite a big feat.
I LOVE Xenoblade...
Unless Nintendo drops out of the hardware race entirely, no chance in hell.
Next.
Thanks!
I'm not exactly a fighting game fan, but wouldn't a exclusive Darkstalkers game for Wii U be kind of a big bomb to drop at E3? As far as I know, that franchise has a pretty ravid cult following, and has been dormant for quite some time now... right?
Because you can disagree with someone's opinion. Agrees / disagrees for opinions aren't bad, it's bad when you disagree with a fact.
Just to make it clear, agrees / disagree are exactly that. They are not down-votes. Bubble downs ARE the downvotes here.
While I agree that the gamepad is quite a big part of the Wii U's cost, it's a gross exaggeration to say it's close to the Vita in terms of hardware. Get serious, please.
The Gamepad has a lower res screen, resistive technology, gyro sensor, camera, and NFC chip.
The Vita has a higher res OLED screen (much more expensive), capacitive technology (much more expensive, too), gyro sensor, two cameras, rear touch pad, and on top of all that, it has act...
