Indistinguishable from reality?
Nope, Tim, go home, you're drunk. We may get to that point someday, but not in ten years. We have a LONG way to go before getting close to that.
For me it was well worth the $60 I paid for it. It has its fair share of flaws, but it compensates with one of the most unique, tense and fun gameplay experiences I've ever had in my life.
$18 for it is an absolute steal.
Play it, most definitely. Never sell it, unless you're really in need of that money. :/
Allow me to make it easy for you:
Open it. Then play the hell out of it.
Then never ever ever ever ever sell it.
Done. :O
The Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2, and just a bit less powerful than the first Xbox, and it had pretty good third party support, and it also had killer Nintendo games... oh, and on top of all that, it was cheaper than the PS2 and Xbox. Yet it was Nintendo's least successful console.
How do you explain that?
Not gonna happen. If they do a price cut, they won't go below $250. That price point is already pushing it for them, and that would make it quite competitive compared to the $400 PS4 and $500 Xbox One.
How? If Mario 3D World plays like Mario 3D Land, it will be restricted by a timer, which limits the exploring possibilities considerably.
Because not everyone has the same taste in gaming, or anything else for that matter.
Shocking, I know!
So, you're blaming Ubisoft for the Wii U's situation?
Despite them being the most enthusiastic third party devs when it came to supporting the console?
Nope. It's NINTENDO's job to put out killer IPs that make the install base grow to a sizable enough form to attract third party developers, not the other way around.
And outside Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros U, what other games had Nintendo to show in the Wii U's f...
A Gran Turismo game for Vita? Definitely, it's coming.
But not Gran Turismo 6, I don't think so.
I'm a big Nintendo fan, and I quite like my Wii U. I read his statements, and I didn't feel insulted by him with anything he said, even if I didn't quite agree with his views.
So... can you explain to me what I'm missing here? What makes him such a douchebag? Because I've seen far worse than him.
:/
VERI SERIUS BUSINES
Pig Pen, Just Dance is Ubi's best selling franchise because it struck a chord with the casual audience on the Wii, a console that currently has a user base of almost 100 million.
I've played a couple Just Dance games in a friend's house, and they were pretty fun, actually. Lol. Anyone can play it and have fun. I know for a fact that Just Dance is pretty hilarious in parties, especially if there's booze involved. ^_^
It may not be one of Ubi...
Ubisoft's games will never reach mass market success?
LOL.
You're completely right. Almost nobody knows what Far Cry is.
Or Assassin's Creed.
Or Prince of Persia.
Or Splinter Cell.
Poor Ubisoft. Nobody seems to pay attention to their games because they're so small. :(
Yeah, I don't think they will pull another WInd Waker, they've played that card quite enough already: Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, and now the HD Wind Waker remake.
Nintendo likes to experiment with graphic styles on the Zelda franchise, so if they don't use "realistic" graphics and decide to pull another "cartoony" art-style for the Wii U Zelda game, I'm sure it will be different to the Wind Waker one.
The Gamecube was profitable for them, actually, despite its low sales. Unlike Microsoft, who lost more than a billion dollars on the first Xbox despite selling slightly better than the Gamecube. :P
And I expect the Wii U to sell better than the Cube, if anything just because the gaming market is now much, much bigger than it was back in the Cube / PS2 days.
Nintendo will be just fine.
So, a 7-month-old game console's library can't compare to that of 7 and 8 year old systems?
YOU DON'T SAY????
Yes, the Wii U has been able to do background downloads of all updates, including firmware updates, for a while now. This ability was patched in on its second big update, I think, which was some months ago.
Was this the first software update you did for your Wii U? If it was, maybe that's why you couldn't do it on the background, because it wasn't put in yet. Now it should be able to.
:P
Oh, and I didn't downvote you, actually...
The Wii U has background downloads, even for OS updates, so I have a hard time believing you have a Wii U.
I don't understand your comment. You say this could be a good DK game since it's being made by Retro, yet you didn't like Returns, which WAS made by Retro?
Wut?
