Actually, dirt and smudges are less noticeable on the white Wii U than they are on the black Wii U. I know this by experience, I've had both. :P
As for it looking ugly next to your other black devices, well, yeah, that's of course a matter of taste. I actually don't care about matching my consoles, so I have now a white Wii U, red PS3 and silver Ouya, and will get a black PS4 sometime in the future. XD
Beast, back at you. Dreamcast was the weakest of the consoles of its time. You should learn your gaming history before making ridiculous claims.
In terms of power, it was like this:
Dreamcast < PS2 < Gamecube < Xbox.
Dude, the gap in power between the Dreamcast and, say, the PS2 (the weakest of the other consoles at the time) wasn't THAT big as you make it out to be. It's possible that there was less gap, comparatively speaking, between the Dreamcast and the other consoles than there is between the Wii U and the Xbox One and PS4.
Not sure, though. On the other hand, I think the gap isn't as wide between the Wii U and the other next gen consoles as it was between the Wii and th...
Farore.
But, yeah. You're right. :P
Whoah.
It won't affect me, though, because I'm buying the retail version. The box art is gorgeous, and there's no way I'm missing out on that. :P
Nope, Black Ops 2 was released on Wii U only about a week or two after the other HD versions. Not even close to "nearly a year".
If it didn't do too well on Wii U it was simply because it was a new console with virtually no install base. I think Ghosts will fare a bit better because the Wii U will have a much bigger install base come this november, but it will still do much, much better on the other two current HD consoles. No idea how it will fare compared to ...
Avoid the article if you haven't played the game yet and intend to do so. Spoilers galore.
:(
Don't even bother. Disagree, bubble down for trolling, move on. Nothing to see here.
Nintendo didn't fail to explain anything, they were pretty clear: these are their own damn games, and they price them however they damn want to.
It's a perfectly valid response, whether you like it or not.
You don't like the price of any of their games? Vote with your wallet. Don't buy it. Complain about it on Miiverse, and try and get others to do the same. Believe it or not, Nintendo actually pay attention to those things.

Looks like you have the grammar of a baby. Maybe you should play Pikmin.
I think they're also counting the arcade games, but as far as I know there's only been 2 of those, which would bring the total number of Mario Kart games to 10. I don't know what the missing game could be.
Not exactly. It's not a discount, it's bonus credit which you can use on other content available on the eShop.
Either way, it's a nice incentive.
A price cut can only help you so far. If the 3DS didn't pick up the pace with game releases it would have tanked, price cut or not.
Games is the principal reason the 3DS is doing so well, not only price.
I'd rather pay $50 for a new Lamborghini.
That's not backwards compatibility, dude.
The sad thing is that people didn't get the joke even though you put the /s and everything... the sarcasm for me would have been clear even without it.
That's not going to happen. Wii U's Smash and 3DS's Smash are two different games, they only share the character roster. So no, Nintendo will sell them separately.
The answer is quite simple: Sony is willing to lose more money per console sold than Nintendo (and Ninty is already taking a slight loss per Wii U sold as it is).
It's not really that the Wii U is overpriced, it's more that the PS4 is much more underpriced than the Wii U.
Not the smartest business practice, I think. This is why Sony is in such bad shape financially, while Nintendo has billions of dollars in the bank.
Would it be aweso...
Where did you take that data from? Nintendo makes more money than pretty much any other publisher out there. EA doesn't come close to Nintendo in numbers.
Thankfully I have a 32" Sony Trinitron where retro games look awesome. A whole library shelf with books and all fell over it during an earthquake, breaking the TV from behind, and IT STILL WORKS. Lol.
