I'm one of those people who've been clamoring for Sega to release Shenmue 3 for years. In fact, the reason I ended up buying a 360 was to play Shenmue 2 after I found it it was going to be an Xbox exclusive. However, to be honest, I don't care anymore. I've been pretty much addicted to Yakuza 3 for the past few weeks and IMO it offers much more replay value and DEFINETLY more variety than any Shenmue game I've played.

@mushroomwig- Sony gave THEMSELVES massive attention by beginning a lawsuit. And this hack IS much worse. Geohot got access to the Sony's ROOT KEY and was able to trick the PS3 into thinking that any PS3 game was actually a PSN game. Something of that magnitude hasn't been achieved in other next gen console.

Why the hell do you want(or need) hardcore Kinect games when the 360 ITSELF has over 40 hardcore games coming out in 2011???
It makes NO sense. If a 360 owner is THAT interested in hardcore games...wouldn't they completely ignore Kinect and buy Gears 3, Forza 4, Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3, Arkham City etc. instead?

Its always good to cater to hardcore gamers...but we all know that they represent the minority when it comes to the broad spectrum of things. Sony KNOWS they need to do better with marketing and casual games to reel in mainstream gamers.
Uncharted 2 was the first step. It was basically an action movie with great graphics, fantastic dialouge, and an awesome lead character. Games like these appeal to the masses.

I think u missed the point of what hes doing. By stating that he "re-enabled", hes trying to make it seem as if Sony was the bad guy for taking the "OtherOS" feature away.
This isn't about piracy, its about setting a precedent for what people are allowed to do with what they buy with THEIR OWN money....in this case, the PS3. The problem is that the Sony cheerleaders are N4G are to stupid to realize it.

@morganfell- No one "hides" numbers when NPD comes out. But when NPD numbers release...the rest of the world's numbers are irrelavent in the discussion because we known that NPD concerns only U.S. numbers.
