Its just a weekend. Don't think people are going to cry about it. But I think M$ should have given people a a month free. A weekend is practically nothing considering the 3 day time span when people may have other things planned.
Heck, 3 days isn't even enough for most of the 360 audience to realize that XBL is free for the weekend.

Ur missing the big picture. In 2006, $600 was a STEAL for a PS3 since Blu-ray players ALONE costed $600 at that time. Here's the thing...even if you sell something at a bargain, that doesn't mean people will be able to afford it.

@mrv- No ones arguing that the NGP won't be an amazing device...but most of the things you mentioned can be done by today's smartphones...which happen to be slimmer and sleeker than the 3DS or NGP.

YUP, Uncharted had touch controls on the front AND back. $400 is a possible price, but knowing Sony, they'll include a free game or a collection of free demos to make consumer's feel they gt their bang for their buck. Hypothetically speaking, if I didn't have a PS3 and I was in the market for a portable gaming console...id buy the NGP for $400 in a heartbeat.

A shame people here will never understand that very simple concept. The PS3 offers more bang for your buck overall and the 360 has more online features and a snappier UI.
