No, they can't do that. This is likely something to give hackers a harder time. If Sony were to change the root keys, then all current PS3 software would be rendered unplayable.

And whats even crazier is that their marketing 7 year old tech with the PSP. If the PSP2 was the REAL PS Phone, then it would make perfect sense considering how powerful the PSP2 is rumored to be.

@mcmmaster- Yeah, a couple people probably commented without watching the vid. I expect Arkham City to have co-op since most 3rd person action games have co-op these days, but this vid doesn't prove that it'll happen.

^^I agree. It's quite confusing. The fact that the PSP2 has 3G gives people the impression that its a phone as well. If the PSP2 doubled as a phone..people will have no reason to buy the PSP Phone.

According to N4G...IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku, Destructoid, NowGamer, and Giant Bomb are ALL against the PS3. Sounds kinda stupid don't ya think, especially since all these sites have given plenty of PS3 exclusives good reviews.

I agree that the Uncharted franchise gives the Gears franchise incentive to improve...but neither games are a threat to each other IMO considering that Gears 3 is for Gears fans at this point. Gears fans will get Gears 3 regardless of whatever else comes out.
Red Faction is a TOTALLY different beast since it emphasizes unique weapons and destruction.

Congrats to Microsoft. I don't c myself investing in this until it comes out on the PC...but M$ deserves every sale they get considering all the crap Kinect gt at E3. They basically flipped off all the naysayers. There were tons of people saying Kinect would flop, I was one of them(check E3 2010 Kinect N4G comments on the day of the M$ conference), but I was wrong.
Angry Birds is up for an AIAS GOTY award. Apparently AIAS is a big deal since developers (not fanboys) choose the winners. Jio, considering that Angry Birds is up there with GOW3 and RDR...maybe u shuld change ur definition of what a "real" gamer is and what they play. Keep in mind that this smartphone game has gotten more popularity and critical acclaim than ANY PSP or DS game since its release.
