Of course M$ are the followers. Its usually the people with the HIGHEST price, that have to drop their price FIRST. Why would M$ be the leader and drop the price before Sony when they already had the price advantage over Sony??? Oh I forgot, logic doesn't work on N4G.

@Raztad- The reason I thk a $50 price drop will make a HUGE difference is the Wii. For years, the Wii has outsold the crap outta ever other next-gen console and its ONLY 50 DOLLARS less than the 360 Pro, which is obviously the better choice if u have 300 bucks in ur pocket.

I wonder what'll happen when the $250 60gig 360 pops up on Amazon. Its a shame the 360 will win the holiday season with Sony having easily the best lineup of games between the the 3 next-gen consoles. Oh well, as long as the PS3 sells well, Sony can keep making great exclusives!

Im using my normal account 2day actually lol. Getting back to the point, logically, the Slim is a much much better value than the Elite at a $300 price point. However, Wii sales have shown that the majority of consumers aren't very logical. So even with the Slim being the best value in home entertainment I find it hard to believe that the public will catch on to that to the point that the 360 and Wii stop selling drastically.

I really don't thk COD having duel wielding is a BAD thing. U don't have ta use it if u don't want to. The fact that Infinity Ward is giving players the "choice" to duel wield is a GOOD thing. The more choice you have in games, the better.
Great Deal for people who want a 360. I just wish that they would put a hardrive in the Arcade and keep the price under $300.

As much as I HATE giving cash to Gamestop, I wanna get in that beta. It sucks so bad, cuz my friend works at Gamestop and he had INFAMOUS a full 3 days before it came out and somehow he had no idea that there was a beta code for Uncharted 2 in it. He actually found out about it a day AFTER the beta ended. *sigh*

cooliris is right. 360 would have to stop selling over 20,000 consoles a month for Sony to win in console sales.....UNLESS Sony throws the biggest marketing campaign the videogame industry has ever seen.If things stay the way they are now, then Sony has a chance to take second place sometime next year, but undoubtedly M$ will do somethg to ensure that doesn't happen.
