@Wxer- YES, ur 100% right. MGS began the stealth genre. But why can't someone else IMPROVE upon it? Mario started the platforming genre, does that mean Infamous and God of War are Mario rip-offs? @Saaking- A PC with a good graphics card is expensive. I'll buy one with an HDD drive when M$ lowers the price to where it should be, which is $200 for the 120gig. The Elite should be $200 for the simple fact that it's ONE YEAR older than the PS3.
I didn't thk either of them were worth buying in the long run. Infamous was the better game but thats really not saying much. Prototype, for the first hour or two, was the BEST ACTION GAME this generation. But it got repetitive and boring really fast. Killzone 2 demolishes both anyways.

Yep, because what happens on Amazon is whats happening everywhere. I have nothing against Amazon, in fact, I use it all the time. I really don't care if it gets GOTY or not either, but since were on the topic, it'll most likely be between Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Either way, im gettin both.

OMFG.
Many complain that KZ2 is too chaotic, which is understandable, but for me its the best fps I've ever played next to COD4. People like to bad mouth COD4 for not requiring as much "skill" as KZ2, but thats the point. The Modern Warfare franchise is successful because it appeals to action gamers, fps fans second. KZ2 is for hardcore fps fans. BOTH are awesome in their own ways.

There WAS screen tear in Uncharted 1, but it didn't bother me. The gameplay, story, and voice acting impressed me more than the graphics. Its proly just me, but I don't thk having "Uncharted 2 level" graphics is necessary for a game to be AAA. Graphics impress for the first hour or two in the game and the more u play it the less u care about it.
To be honest, the only type of graphics that bother me are the ones that produce "jagged edges", sorta like the ones...
This comparison is idiotic. Comparing a game thats damn near complete to one that has 7 months of development time to go...not what I call fair.

Depends on whats important to the person. I have a PS3, but I still think XBL is an overall better online experience as far speed and integration. But I settle for the PSN for 4 reasons:
1. Its about 3/4 what XBL is.
2. Its free.
3. It consistently gets better.
4. I don't care about Netflix or 1 vs.100

Okay...NOW I understand why everyone hates HHG. His titles are idiotic. What does the God of War pack have to do with Activision?!?! And why does Kratos have to steal Modern Warfare 2's thunder? THERE BOTH ON PS3!! It would benefit Sony if BOTH games did well. HHG, im a fan of yours, but with crap like this and "Heavy Rain's graphics destroying PC gaming", ur alienating many people.
Its definitely overrated, but I wouldn't say its bad. Sarcasm hit it right on the head. Not everyone likes the same things. I'll use MGS4 and Mass Effect as an example. High review scores, yet many people didn't see what all the hype was about. Everyone is different and has different preferences.
@cannon- I would reccommend renting it. Its a cool experience, but u won't get much replay value from it once its over. The story is really heavy handed. Id lend it to you, but u proly don't live in my area. What I would recommend is Killzone 2.
@Dead_Cell-Thats proly why I didn't enjoy it very much. Ive only played MGS2,Snake Eater, and MGS4. I tried playing the first, but the controls were way too annoying for me.
