They definitely matter but they have had an obvious sharp decline in popularity over the last decade and a half due to their repetitive nature. For the most part they have become a niche. There will always be those of us who love them. I used to play every RPG I could get my hands on on the PSX but after awhile they became cookie cutter too many spiky haired heroes and secret princesses. Edge Maverick was a sign of things to come. The franchise that lead the pack lost it's magic when the ...

They tried that. They should just focus where their market is strongest. Japan just isn't the hotbed of gaming like it used to be. Over there the PS4 is just now catching up to the Wii U. At this point it's just not worth the money.

Man you guys try way to hard. Why are you even in this thread? There are millions of different fans on each console. You can't just generalize an entire group as one. It's just silly and childish. The ones in this thread are the type that like a JRPG like Lost Oddyssey. Granted on the Xbox these don't do as well as they should but that doesn't mean ALL people who play Xbox don't like JRPG's. Why are you so upset about it? Why do you have to go out of your way to try an...

Man why are guys so thirsty for bad news about Xbox. I just don't get it. Why wouldn't you want all platforms to succeed and be healthy. They don't care how cheap they sell the old systems for because they just want more people in their ecosystem. Yes sony is doing good with PS4 but that doesn't mean the Xbox has been doing bad. Why do you want that to be so? Competition is the reason these companies are fighting for wallets and the reason they've all made changes that ben...

Capcom has a long history of this of bad decisions when it came to platform exclusives. This go back long before they started having money problems. Case in point the bewildering decision to take the Resident Evil franchise that was born on playstation and put it on Nintendo's gamecube. If they wanted to go multiplatform that's one thing but this was just stupid.

Any smart 3rd party want's their games on all platforms to make more money. This isn't brain surgery. This is why Capcom isn't bigger then it is. Because it focuses certain franchises on one platform for seemingly no reason. All console and pc players should be able to play. Dead Rising 4, Monster Hunter, SFV, Viewtiful Joe, their entire damn catalog.

Playstation did the same thing last gen. They would only announce combined numbers of PS2, PSP and PS3 sold and a lot shipped. These companies do the same things. There is truly no difference they are in it for your money first and foremost. Everything else is just marketing.

Yeah these 4 or 5 or so days of fun I've had playing it and all the improvements made to the formula since Fallout 3 made it pretty disappointing for me too. Honestly the more I play it the more I'm amazed something like it even exists. With all the combinations of things an open world how doing one thing before another changes the reactions and quest lines. Nothing about Fallout 4 feels downright broken, bugs occur from time to time but the game is a masterpiece that delivers a LOT o...

I got approved for the 65" Samsung Daily Deal with the 400 credit i'm going to use towards a PS4Pro or and Xbox one s. The Ps4Pro isn't in their store yet but this is a solid deal. Oh mann.

PS3 added plus when it came to updates for the console it was almost always for stability just like now. Sony has always been super slow with significant updates. The Xbox one literally gets improves or adds something almost every month. I've been in the preview program since the beginning and I have to say the evolution has been fun to watch.

Worldwide sales matter but being number 1 in the number 1 video game market matters quite a bit too.

I love mine. I tried playing with the original that i loved before and it just feels weird once you get used to the weight and feel of the elite.

I beat it on the hardest difficulty my first play through and it was an awesome ending. Maybe it's just not for the weak at heart.

Who are the victims? These guys were going to get sponsored to play a game. If they were more worried about their cause they would have played whatever game the sponsor wanted them too. COD is COD. When they refused to play that game they turned their back on their cause. Activision is the one putting the money up. They can't have a say in the game played? Especially after putting over a 100 million dollars into developing a new game. To think like that is silly and childish and to call a...

Nobody uses rational thought at all when addressing stuff like this. Especially not thinking about something from both sides.

If Charity was all this was about, then we would never have heard about this and the streamers would have played the game the sponsor wanted to help the charity. Instead they go whining to the internet knowing that the overreacting gaming community will jump on the hate bandwagon. If the sponsors willing to put the money up, then play the game they want you to play. Simple. I have no patience for these baby ass antics and whining. So much damn crying and bitching and moaning in the gaming com...

Saw this on FB and like I said there. Don't blame this on Activision. They have made it clear they want to promote the new game and not the old remaster that comes along with it. When you put millions and millions of dollars into a new game of course you want to promote it. It makes sense to focus on the future. Blame the guys who are acting like babies over the game they want to play. If they were truly worried about the Charity they would play the game that the sponsor wanted. It's ...
