The META GAME does mean something to certain hardcore number of us and I was really hoping they would finally realize it this gen.
Damn right it's a good thing. Especially the way people complained about Alien Isolation being too long and it has a similar playstyle. 15 is solid for a survival horror game. The longest ones I ever played were Dead Rising 3 and Alien Isolation I loved both but it's not for everybody.
IF it gives you an actual online infrastructure then its a good thing.

I don't go for easy these days I'm going back and trying new things. For the last month after taking a break form FFXV. I finished my platinum on Deadly Premonition, Until Dawn, Remember Me, Strider and now I'm working on Hitman Trilogy. I'm trying to platinum the PS Plus titles they gave us and get some more obscure ones.

I think they should just forget about Japan and only stick with the top companies with an international presence like. They always seem like they half ass it on the xbox versions of these games. They are always poorly optimized ports. Remedy, Insomniac, Crystal Dynamics, Crytek, Capcom Vancouver, and other 3rd party studios had no problems delivering their games on time and finished. They don't take away games you already bought they just take away the option to buy them digitally. Then if you want to go buy the physical copy. For me the benefits of digital have far outweighed physical copies. To each their own.
Foxtrot the last 4 years we have had games announced at E3 and launched in the same year. Because E3 and Gamescom are the only place they announce games. So yes there will be more to 2017 if history is any kind of indication.
MS are the only ones that announce new games at E3 that come out the same year regularly. So let's wait and see. It does look like it will be a back loaded 2017 but with tons of 3rd party games coming most probably even notice.

We have literally no idea what happened at this point. What we do know is that Platinum as a studio has increasingly been announcing more and more games before finishing them. This game was announced in 2014 and since that time Platinum has released multiple games of questionable quality. Of course this is all MS fault right? It could only be MS fault.
Man eff Platinum seriously. They put out so many damn games and keep taking on so many projects and this is the one that gets canceled. AHHHHHH. Well get better Kamiya...damn.
It's a great action TPS but it was the beginning of a wrong turn for the survival horror series.
The Evil Within was a great more horror filled version of Resident Evil 4. It was basically RE4 reskinned but with more psychological horror. Bring on the sequel.
