I think the author missed the point with a lot of these games. Super Columbine RPG shouldn't be viewed as a typical game and if the author actually sat down and played it he would realize that its an alternative narrative. He really should just change the title to "8 Games that Disgust Me."
Why were people expecting an oriental approach? Desmond doesn't really appear to have any oriental ancestry. If Desmond is an American it would make sense that he had an ancestor that lived in America during the Revolution.
Even if your argument was relevant to the actual story, it still makes no sense. EA can break the street date because EA is the one who sets the street date in the first place considering that they are the game's distributor.
Really? That might apply to the first paragraph, but I didn't see too much bragging. The article pretty much says that if you are a gamer at all you need to STFU about it; not very well thought out.
You could just buy a launch PS3
Why is that ridiculous? Moore has a better pass % than RG3 and I can think of a number of passes that were dropped by the receivers from him as well.
This may surprise you, but not every gamer sits and counts the FPS and pixels. I like a game to be as beautiful as the next person, but I was happy with the graphics of my games in the 16-bit era so I'm not as picky. I thought Skyrim looked awesome on the 360 and if they can give me 1080p and 60 FPS on the next systems, I'm all for that.
I'm still trying to figure out how he won the Heisman. As much as I despise Bama, Trent Richardson was a better fit. Hell, as far as QB's go Kellen Moore is by far better than RG3.
The only thing that needs to happen is for someone to file class action against the maker and inform anyone who purchased it that they have the right to participate or forfeit that right.
I remember wanting to try Mr Mosquito back in middle school. Nearly a decade later and I have yet to play it haha
@T900 nothing is really "standard" on a PC.
That sounds legitimate, but can you cite these studies? I'm curious for the sake of the story and I have a paper due in a month that I could use those studies for.
I pictured Tobias Funke speaking while I read the Ballad of Gay Tony question haha
This is how large scale the civil war battles should have been. Well done!
Actually the politically correct term is dynamic turf. Anyways I agree with the need to improve the practice options. The game should collect data about a players weaknesses (poor red zone play calling, poor clock management, and so on) and create unique practice situations for the player.
The financial statement, balance sheet, and all the financial info you could want is here. If you can't make sense of this, then you can't really make any suggestions.

Agreed, the article is a little harsh considering the stage it is in. It is like complaining that a building has no electricity before they even put the walls up. There is no doubt in my mind that the textures will get better.
Even though it scored well, I agree with the author that they just don't sell well anymore because of cultural differences. Japaneses culture tends to be highly collectivist and fatalistic, while the West tends to be the exact opposite. These cultural values are embedded in the values of each style of RPG and it really shows if you look hard enough.
Does Vanille or any character still sound like they are having orgasms every time they move or speak? My gf was in the other room when I first played FFXIII and thought I was watching porn when Vanille started with her abnormal grunting.
I did well ignoring achievements for a couple years, but then a friend and I somehow got into an attrition warfare type of situation with achievement points.
I would go rent a few games and add about 2,500 points a week then my friend would do the same. In about several months both of our gamerscores shot up by about 30,000 points. I love my PS3 and it was my default system for multiplat games, but then I found my purchase decisions being swayed by gamerpoints lol.
