That's some high praise! Looks like I'll have to pick this up sometime soon.
Gonna have to wait a few more days. The game drops on April 26. :D
Power Drift looks absolutely insane in 3D.
One of the best games ever. I just wish Azure Revolution was more of the same, because we deserve another proper, console-based Valkyria Chronicles.
You know, I actually really enjoyed the 32X port. It beat the SNES version in terms of performance, and the Jaguar port that lacked any music.
I remember getting the 32X with DOOM for Christmas in '94 and playing it for the better part of the year. Good times!
You won't be disappointed.
I'm a sucker for gritty noire games like this. I really need to check it out one of these days.
Here's hoping. In any case I can't wait to dive in!
Honestly, it's hard not to gush about all of the things Ray Gigant gets right. It really trims the fat associated with other games in the genre while expanding on other things in very interesting ways.
Yup, that punishing cycle is what makes the series so great.
The dark and grittiness is strong with this one.
The modern Dreamcast? The Wii U has failed to rack up as many memorable experiences as the Dreamcast had in the nearly fours years it's been around.
When SEGA pulled the plug on the Dreamcast it was a huge shock as pretty much everyone who had the console loved it to pieces. As a person who purchased a Wii U on day one and has watched it collect dust for much of that time, I won't even notice when Nintendo ultimately pulls the plug on the system.
I'm starting to lose count of how many games have had a "Blackwell" somethingorother.
I feel like they do. MGSV: The Phantom Pain really suffered from this by taking a series that had built itself on tightly-choreographed progression and cinematic sequences and throwing it into the open.
Sure, the gameplay can benefit, but it's really hard to tell a compelling story when a game lacks constant direction. Though their are exceptions to the rule, such as The Witcher III, which managed to do both quite nicely.
I can't wait to see what the final product is like. Expecting really good things.
It's working just fine on my end.
You have to see it in motion. Character animations are smooth as silk!
You and me both. I've loved all three games in the trilogy so far.
I get what you're saying, but all I can hear is "Mark of the Wolves 2!"
But this is a doujin fighting game...
