A friend of mine has a 60gb PS3 which almost died this year but resurrected it with some thermal paste. Even though i love my slim, the 4 USB ports, card readers and backwards comptability still make me jealous sometimes.
I'm getting the Vita at launch. It's already light and slim and it's got a nice selection of launch titles and Sony make reliable hardware. Even if they improve the batter life or RAM in the next iteration, by the time that comes out i'll hav...
Commercial showing cosplay and the development of the game?
Kind of strange
"The first thing I did when I became the producer and director of Final Fantasy XIV last December was to ask myself, 'What kind of service system, game content, and community content would be necessary if we were to continue to offer this service 10 years into the future?'" Yoshida says.
I like the way he thinks. I can see why they're going all out with it now.
I agree with this as well. If they can get back to how it was in the PS1 days then it would have been better but the dev time for those games can't compare to now.
FFVII came out in 1997, Parasite Eve and Xenogears in 1998, FFVIII and Parasite Eve 2 in 1999, FFIX, Chrono Cross and Vagrant Story in 2000 and FFX in 2001.
They can't churn out games at that rate but like you said if they can get some original games, maybe have some on the Vita since it...
This in my opinion was the worst thing about SE this gen. Forget about XIII's linearity. I already knew that would be taken care of by the next game and Type-0 proved so.
However announcing 3 games and then releasing them 4,5 and probably 6 years after respectively is the worst thing for the fans. XIII coming out 4 years after it was announced just made it have too much hype which it could not live up too.
They need to find a way to turn these games out ...
Who dug this article from January to be posted again?
Innovation is what FF games great and Fresh. That is something they should never stop doing. They learnt a valuable lesson with FFXIII and it will be the last time you see corridors like that.
FF Type-0 does a lot of new things but also sticks to a lot of the core things each FF game has and the reception for it has been good so they should never stop trying new things imo.
They won't ditch it but they would push the PC SDK for it more since it's games are not selling like they did last year.
Dat Livery
Good previews so far from Destructoid and IGN.
It will never be a Capcom article without the good ol Super Turbo joke.
I'm Loving Dante and vergil's costumes especially in Devil Trigger and off course Scarlet Spider.
Uncharted, Gravity Rush and Mahvel baby
I'm disagreeing not because of what it can do but because of the price. Wii launched at £180 and the DS at £99. The Wii-u will be at least £250 if not £300 and then you have to think of another controllerand that doesn't look cheap.
If Nintendo wants to draw in the casuals again for the Wii-U they need to attract them with the attractive pricing that the DS and Wii have.
FFX's sequel also sold less. Facts are sequels to FF numbered games will always sell less even if they are better or worse because it's hard to appeal to every FF fan.
So this is to pre-order the pre-order bonus.
Also the dlc will have to be from Germany's PSN right?
Reading the comments in here it must be tough for the devs. They can't appeal to everyone.
As for the characters, I have no problem with the way they look. From XIII and Versus to Type-0, they look good to me.
Barret had a gun-arm but it looked realistic in advent children so i don't think it means them stopping the crazy designs, it just means that they would be proportionate in size. Barret had really big feet in FFVII for example.

Wait, You guys are complaining and yet most of you are excited about Versus and isn't that an action based RPG?
Where were these complaints before?
Also i don't think they mean action based RPG. Type-0 looks like an action RPG but it actually uses an ATB so it's like Crisis Core but with a Party and that's gotten posisitve reviews all round.
Some people don't like it but i welcome it with what i've seen so far. I'l...
Gen should have been there instead of Zangief
We need a sequel to Burnout Paradise. That's way more important than NFS.
I think that's just for Japan since it released a week earlier.
