The souls series are on a different planet of greatness. Almost a genre in and of it self.
It is the only game that I would take off of work to enjoy upon release.
Man..I really hope Dark Souls 2 doesn't get screwed up.

Dragons Dogma is one of the best, most ambitious (however, greatly maligned) western "styled" RPGs of this generation.
I say this in full knowledge that it was developed/conceived from the east.
infamous 1 was a much better game.
However 2 was no slouch.
We can agree that this is a big-mini game much in the same light as Quest for Booty.
....So why is every one judging it like it needs to stand next to Crack in Time... or Halo?
Full Frontal Assault is a good R&C game (fun, well played with Multi-player and co-op).
The mechanics are tight and smooth (ie.. the game is not broken)
Its important to know when to pick your 'tough-review' battles. I just don't thank that this should...

I am a completionest. It's how am wired. However, with the extensive Multiplayer Plat requirments in mind, I will be picking this title up later than expected. I don't mind grinding.. I just don't like being forced to do it in multiplayer.

I was tempted, successfully, to get the Slim (I love the slim) after my Phat yellowed.
I repaired it my self a couple of times.....felt bad because I had it in a hot cabinet.
The white super slim looks nice.
Demons Souls is owned by Sony.. so there is always a chance that Miyazak and/or Sony could call the other for a love connection; should Dark Souls II go bad.
Just as hell has no fury like a woman scored, I'm sure Miyazak will be more that motivated to realize his direction through the original DS if provided the opportunity .... and proper contractual release if applicable. :)

Never has there been a game that made the hairs on my neck stand up with anticipation, imagination and unmitigated exploration!

Our only hope would be Miyazaki and Sony; pairing up for a Demon's Souls II.
Oh how true you are.. yet I LOVED Dark Souls as well (clocked 275 hrs of game play into it).
Regarding Demons Souls: If only we can see what on the other side of the broken archstone!
The series is awesome and has a very consistent dedicated following in the US.
The lack of overt sells can primarily be attributed to the lack of mainstream marketing and lack of English Voice-overs.
However, as I briefly referenced above; the series is by far my favorite in gaming... right next to Metal Gear and FF. Always a day one for me.
True. I'm still burning from DA Kirk and ME3.
Lets just say that I will not be picking up DA3 on day one. This will be one of the few game purchases that will be heavily considered through like minded reviewers.

DAO was/is beautiful. I can't tell you how many hours I spent in the library (and obviously other spots) reading the 'history of..' and any other cultural driven documents within the game.
Note: I could tell you how much time I spent.... just to embarrassed to do so.

No knocking them. Although I love my PS3... there are other products from companies outside of gaming that I refuse to buy; no matter how great the products are.
(That is, as long as there is a healthy alternative)
MH flourished (tremendously) on the PSP.
Although its nothing wrong with Capcom exclusively releasing MH4 on the 3DS, make no doubt about it, it was not because of a lack of success on the PSP or any other Sony brand.
What this is/was, however, was a very strategic (and smart) move by Nintendo to lock down the game to further bolster sells for the 3DS.. Something that Sony has refused to do consistently in the past.

If you get PS+ then you get it for Both PSV and the PS3. It's 2 WINS (Win+Win)... even if you only wanted one.
