I think what the developer actually means is that the game has something rather disturbing tucked inbetween its legs, hence the inspiration from Lady Gaga
I remember the days when Microsoft would release an update that gave the RRoD to thousands of users. It happened quite alot early on in the 360's lifecycle. Just google searching '360 update rrod' brings up over 5million results.
The point i'm getting at is....things break. A company can do millions of tests on a single piece of software and find zero problems with it, yet when it gets out to the wild, individuals find it can hamper performance.
I'd be extreme...
I cannt go to a computer fair or mobile phone shop here in the UK without having an R4 or TT card shoved in my face.
DS piracy is alot bigger than people think. And its a damn sight easier and cheaper to pirate NDS games than PSP. I've had people time and time again buy DS systems from my old shop, and could here them talk about pirating software before they reached the til.
Also, just browsing several pirated websites shows how popular downloading DS games act...
"What if hackers find another exploit?. What other feature could be targeted for removal?. "
I see your point, however, i feel others are pretty much missing a big one. Sony has zero control over the Linux operating system. They cannot release a patch to boost security for the operating system, nor could they really do anything to the operating system on any scale, given the different versions of Linux available.
The operating systems, and what could ...
This was announced months ago, although we didn't know at the time that it would come out before Dead Rising 2 hit the shelves
Surely the title should read "Dead Rising 2: Case Zero - new info" instead, as anyone who paid attention to gaming would already know its exclusive
A new Zone of the Enders game is well overdue.
Don't care what system it appears on, get with making it already!
I must be the only one in the world that actually finds more users on PS3 using headsets than on the 360 :-/ Although this is just from a small handful of games from which i've played where i have bothered to notice headset use.
Although i generally don't for either. Trying to discuss tactics to a 14year old loudmouth who thinks he's gods gift to gaming just takes the fun out of it personally.
As for Live vs PSN, i do think Live is a more polished experience in ...
No green, we don't eat up 'everything' to do with football. Sure, its the biggest sport by a mile and the Fifa/PES/Football Manager series of games always top the charts for a long while, but outside of that, everything struggles. Club Football games struggled, Championship Manager struggles, so to a certain extent, your wrong in thinking football = instant win.
Not only that, how the hell do we know its football, and not american football that he's talking about? I cant see...
Yay, lets all give each other high fives and have bum sex!
Seriosuly, any 'fanboy' of any system is a complete retard, whether its Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo/Apple/ Lady GaGa or whoever/whatever. Its beyond a joke that people cannot either give a) constructive critisism or b) constructive praise without getting a ton of abuse back.
The reason you guys above me get abuse is because your way off centre with 3/4's of what you say. Bumming Micrsoft/Sony or whoever for...
Agreed, it would seem a little high priced whilst aiming at a casual audience.
I'm sure Microsoft will package Natal with the arcade console, would seem daft not to really.
Your on N4G at 4 in the morning???? :-/
Sorry, thought you were possibly from Europe given the times of day globally.
Is it only me who notices that you seem to be commenting first alot in nearly everything xbox/splinter cell related?
I mean, i can undertand the excitement about the game to a degree, but isn't it sunny outside? Do you know what outside looks like?
Sorry, just every time i'm reading comments, its your comments that are popping up everywhere, either praising the game for being the best thing since sliced bread, or slagging someone off who might genuinely not like...
Does this mean we can slag off Microsoft for removing features now? If so, i think i'll write a letter to Amazon, demanding a partial refund!!!11!
Sorry, couldn't resist. This generation would be perfectly fine if all the 'die hard fanboys' of any console would just fcuk off. But i find it hilarious that console x can be guilty as sin for removing a feature used by less than 1% of owners, yet its fine that console y can remove features as they see fit.
On topi...
I just can't consider the IPhone or Ipod Touch as a proper gaming device to be honest. I really cannot stand touch screen gaming on the devices, and i wouldn't mind, i bet half of those 50,700 titles are free games such as iPint, or some sort of throw-the-paper-ball-into-the- bucket type game.
Give me a DS or PSP for proper handheld gaming anyday (although i find the DS is also made up virtually entirely of shovelware crap and 'exercise the mind/eyes/ears/nose/throat/pen is et...
There's a reason nobody really takes Gamecentral seriously, mainly because a) it barely passes as a form of gaming media and b) its rather sh!t.
If we start using things like this as a source of serious reviewing/news/previews etc, then we might aswell start posting the likes of Nuts/Zoo/FHM/Loaded and all the other half assed opinions from the media
It could be brown and called the Ish!t and it'd still sell like hot cakes and still be praised like the second coming of Jesus by all the sheep out there
I'll wait til a more fully featured tablet comes out that can replace my laptop without me losing out on features
Majority of retail chains are a complete rip off anyway. I get all my gaming stuff from either shopto.net or ebay. The likes of Game/HMV/Argos etc are just complete rip offs majority of the time
Will the final boss be Shamu??
Pseronally not a fan of the Sims games...however...it'll be interesting to see what support, if any, the 360/PS3 will get in terms of adding custom content from the internet, as adding objects/items/characters that people have created seems to be one of the big draws for the Sims franchise
