@Kaneki-Ken:
Planescape Torment still has the best story of any video game and it is PC exclusive. Other classics such as Icewind Dale & Baldur's Gate II are also at the top of nearly every list of best game stories and writing.
Sony didn't drop the IP. The dev took back the rights to it and went with a different pub. Also, Publishers regularly drop IPs for no real reason. There have been games that had already gone gold and were dropped last minute just because the publisher decided they didn't want to spend the money to market it. Sony is not some magic anomaly in this regard.
The Oculus site crashed within minutes of pre-orders going online, due to so many people trying to put in orders. Vive sold out 10 minutes after sales opened. I have seen alot of people praising PSVR but i have seen just as many PS fans on this site, complaining about the $400 price and saying VR will fail. Yet Vive is selling out in 10 minutes with an $800 price tag.
Mobile doesn't have the hardware to support the full potential of VR. Also the cost will be even more of a factor than for console gamers. Despite high end cell phones costing more than consoles, the user base is even more stingy when it comes to software and peripheral hardware. Unless someone comes out with a full featured VR headset with build-in processing, for under $100, it is unlikely to ever succeed.

Unlikely. Given the cost of VR versus platform costs, PC has the advantage. Most console gamers will not be willing to shell out $400 for a VR headset when the console itself does not cost that much. PC gamers are much more willing to spend that kind of money on peripheral tech. They also tend to be more open to new technologies in general, while most console gamers just see it as a fad that will never go anywhere. Given Steam already has full VR support says alot.

You really should stop using single user comments on random forums as sources. You have some bad info. The WiiU has been analysed and confirmed to be 352 Gflops. The Tegra X2 is rumored to be in the 1.5 Tflop range.
I lived through it also, there were multiple reasons why it failed.
Sega's reputation at that point wasn't great to begin with, due to the Saturn and 32X/CD. They released it at E3 without even most 3rd party developers knowing about it before hand, so it literally had no games. Also people had already been saving up for the PS2 at the time and were unwilling to reassign that money to the Dreamcast. The advertising for it post release was also lacking. Most of my fr...
Absolutely not. Releasing without reasonable notice was one of the primary reasons the Dreamcast failed. If Nintendo wants to keep being stubborn and refuse to learn from the industry, or from its own past mistakes, they deserve to die just like Sega did.
Nobody cares about PC and yet there are more core gamers on PC than there are on the PS4/Xbone & WiiU combined. There are also more exclusive games released on the PC every year than any of the last gen consoles had in their entire lifecycle, not even counting MMOs.
Regardless though, as Vegamyster already stated, this was an issue with Amazon, not the quality of the games port. Saying nobody cares about PC just because of a 1 time issue with Amazon, makes absolutely no...
It is tool assisted (bot) and it is technically a glitch run anyway, not a speed run. It seems everyone these days has forgotten what a speed run actually is.
No more overpriced than a $150 mechanical keyboard or $80 mouse.
If you think this is overpriced, you are not the target audience.
More multiplayer garbage nobody asked for. Burn in hell R*
1440p monitors have been around for 6 or 7 years.
How is the PC behind when the Geforce 10 series has been available for a while now and has full HDR support? The only real disadvantage on the PC side is the cost of the few HDR monitors that are available. You can still connect to a TV instead though.
As for the video, there are noticable differences. The textures and normal maps both had more detail on the PC version, and there was less aliasing. It wasn't a huge difference but it was a difference. FH3 isn't exact...
I have no idea why developers and manufacturers keep making these exclusive deals with Lamestop. $150 premium just for a semi decent spray decal. For that price, you could very nearly take a regular PS4 to an auto shop and get it sprayed with a real nice high gloss auto paint, then take it to a laser etching shop to get a custom image put on.
You can stick an 8GB RX 470 into almost any 6yo mid range PC and have a system that is more powerful than the PS4 Pro, for $220. The Pro will not be preventing anything.
Emulators are completely legal. As long as he is not providing game ROMs, Nintendo has no rights to it.
Also the hardware patent rights for the consoles covered by this emulator expired years ago.
What hype? It certainly looks like a good game but i haven't seen any significant "hype" for it.
Sounds good to me. I'll bring the popcorn.
Depends on your definition of "best".
Most comfortable - Gamecube or Dreamcast
Most accurate controls - Dualshock 3
Most functional - Xbox One Elite
If i had to pick just one, Xbox One Elite. For me function comes far before form. Even though the analogs on the DS3 are a bit more precise, the overall features and functionality of the Elite make it my personal choice.
