It is called a Season Pass, not a DLC Pass. It entitles you to the DLC that is released during the season that it is purchased. Do you buy a season pass to a fair or other annual event and then expect it to last a lifetime also?

@xMANB3ARP1G:

Entitled, common sense lacking people who do not know the meaning of the word "season" are part of the problem.

@Doom:

"GOTY" doesn't really mean much anymore. Lots of games get a GOTY version, even without actually winning game of the year. It has become the equivalent of an Ultimate/Complete Edition.

Shutup mod: You would have thought all the people complaining about Navi would have taught them something. Seems they learned the wrong something and actually added the annoying little pixie f^ck to NMS. Do yourself a favor and get this mod.

Deep Space really is an awesome mod also. It does alot more for the overall visuals than just make the sky black.

A few more good mods:

DLC also typically costs very little to produce and advertise compared to the main game. Bethesda is one of the few developers that still makes major expansion style DLC, and even they have been slacking a bit recently.

Microtransaction content is practically free to produce. 1 person can make a $10 weapon skin in a couple hours and there is zero marketing involved.

Missing a few facts.

1: Games are not the cheapest they have ever been. PS2 games were $10 cheaper in the U.S and $20 cheaper nearly everywhere else. $49.99 in both the U.S and Canada. Now $59.99 USD and $69.99 CAD. (That is a 20% increase in the U.S and a 40% increase in Canada) So accurate price inflation since 2000 has actually occured.

2: Games sell far more units now than they did during the SNES generation (when games actually were more expensive). ...

IMO, better textures/lighting @ 1080p /w 4x MSAA and rock solid 60fps would be preferable to 4k. Add in an OLED TV once they are more affordable, and it will both look and perform far better than 4k.

If it actually had the cart slots for all of them, yeah. But it won't.

Personally i would be happy if it just had BC with the WiiU and 3DS. WiiU since i haven't purchased one yet and it would save me from having to purchase 2 consoles. 3DS because i would love to replay Pokemon X & Omega Ruby (or even the original DS Pokemon games) upscaled on a full TV screen.

Proper controller + WiiU & 3DS BC + Proper mainline console Pokemon game = Gu...

Nothing random about it. Too many people seem to completely misunderstand what procedural generation actually is.

Think of it like an AI. You have to put in rulesets for the generation to work from. Things like types of objects available, where said objects can be located (Not sticking huge rivers in the middle of a desert) How many of said objects can be together in a specific radius, the likelyhood of any type of object being generated, etc, etc. The more complex this cod...

According to this article, Far Harbor was 2.7GB.

Edit: They are probably talking about the compressed sizes. FH = 2.7GB compressed, NW = 3.66GB compressed. Either way Nuka world seems to be the larger of the two, Unless they are using a weaker compression method on a newer DLC which would make no sense.

FFIX... Ouch. FFIX had by far the most likeable cast of characters in the entire franchise. The visuals were also the best of any PS1 FF game. Realism is not all that matters in visuals. The artistic style of FFIX was far better than VII or VIII.

@TheVigilanteCode:

You have that kind of backwards. According to various reports early in the development of the PS4, Sony went to Nvidia and wanted them to start a brand new assembly line for custom SoCs for the PS4. Wanted the chips for only slightly above cost, basically telling Nvidia they should be glad to give the chips away just for the honor of working with Sony. Then on top of all that, they wanted exclusive rights to said chips, telling Nvidia they would not be ab...

99% of the problems with the game are caused by the stupid decisions by the developers, both to require OpenGL 4.5 instead of DirectX, and more importantly, SSE4.1. If you have an AMD CPU that is more than a couple years old, you will not be able to play NMS.

Performance issues = limited or no OpenGL 4.5 support
Crash on startup = Lack of SSE4.1 support

By definition, it is called DLC. DLC is an acronym for Downloadable content. If it is content, and it is downloadable, it is DLC. In this case, it is just unpayed/free DLC. Updates typcially imply mandatory bugfixes and stability patches. Not optional additonal content.

@Septic:

You can see other players. The last article claiming you couldn't, was satire. I am suprised practically nobody noticed something so obvious. They visited the same spot AT DIFFERENT TIMES, and claimed they could not see each other (Even the images that were provided as "proof", one was day time and the other was night). Try going outside and tell me if you can see someone who was there an hour ago. Guess you must not exist in the same universe.

The All-American from Fallout NV.
Typhoon from Crysis 3 (Not sure if this really counts as an "assault rifle" or just a very large SMG)

Tough to remember assault rifles specifically. If this was a list of favorite game guns in general, i could easily list several.

Pretty much the entire thing after Squall got skewered by Edea. The story became so odd and fantastical that alot of people believe the whole thing to have just been Squall hallucinating prior to his death.

XII is a great game. It was different as far as FF games go but it was still very fun. The Gambit system was the most innovative and functional way to control secondary battle characters in any game ever, and is still unmatched to this day. The licence board was also an improved version of the sphere grid in X, which got even better in IZJS. Too many people hating on the game just because it lacked the cliche relationship centric story that was typical of FF games.
