@fenome:
There is no such thing as a "sweet spot" in pricing unless the product is marketed towards a specific financial demographic. It will cost what it needs to cost to make MS a profit. Just because $400 is the max you are personally able/willing to pay, does not make it some sort of sweet spot in general.
This article was posted 8 months ago. Which was already late, as FF IX released on Steam 9 months ago.
The 6 hour time will be idle (no game running) and at lowest brightness setting with wifi off. Nintendo always rates battery life that way. 90% of games will get 2-2.5 hours. small indie titles may get 4 hours.
So yes, it takes longer to charge than it does to die.
They would be skipping HL2 Ep3 also. I'll be seriously annoyed if they cave to all the people asking for HL3 and HL2s story is left unfinished.
This is similar to all the people that were asking for RDR2. Now R* has actually caved and we are probably going to be stuck playing some half baked continuation story as JMs son in the same location rather than a completely new location/story as it should have been.
It comes down to value perception. Achievements have become a standard feature that all other platforms have. When given the option, everything else being equal, most gamers will choose to spend their money on the system that has the most features, even if those features seem insignificant. So yes, they need achievements. Especially considering the cost of the system. You cannot price high and provide low.
Luckily they way they have done the motion controls in this one actually looks fun. Very fluid and natural movements for each action.
Be careful when trying to buy it on the NIS online store. They currently only have the PS3 version and it doesn't mention in the product description that it is the PS3 version. You can only tell by looking at the contents picture.
Content wise it may be focused on individuals but character wise it is about as far from it as possible. 95% of MMOs these days have zero uniqueness between characters of the same class and level. Stats are automatically set, skills auto learn as you level up, end game gear is limited to a small handful of options and typcially only 1 of them ends up being viable. Any PVP comes down to a combination of how you set up your skills, who has the most potions and a bit of luck.

Yeah, Apples controller sucks.

Remember this is a cart system, so expect flash carts like R4, Acekard, Gateway, etc. No need for CFW outside of homebrew.
Do you lack understanding of video compression or are you just trolling?
Not yet. That is just the technical limit of the SDXC standard.
Official verification is what comes from the creator of the SDXC standard, not Nintendo.
SDXC has a 2TB limit, always has, always will. Unless Nintendo artificially limited it in software, which would serve no purpose, it will be 2TB.
People seem to forget Valve is no longer a game developer. They are a service provider. They have not made a new game since DotA 2 in july 2013. HL3 (HL2 ep3) will never happen unless they sell the IP, which is highly unlikely.
@TheRandomOne:
Why would an update be 32GB when the largest full game is only 32GB? The largest update will likely only be 8GB of raw data and that will be compressed to <4GB. They can also have those updates installed to the game carts if they choose to have a secondary reserve memory on them. 32GB cart with a 4GB patch bank and 16MB Save file bank. The carts would cost ~$5 each to mass produce (which is cheaper than the ~$10 per cart they payed for the SNES/N64) and wo...
@peewee11016:
CDs do not hold patches or save files. Carts can. I know it is fun to ignore the facts while calling others stupid but when the truth is so obvious, it only serves to make you look like a fool.

In that case you would need to be able to prove the notes were actually written 20 years prior, and that the accused had access to them at some point. Near impossible. The claims made by this guy would be very easily proven.
Made? His likeness is his likeness. He was born with it. The only aspect of his likeness he would need to prove, would be that he had the front gold tooth prior to the game being made. That could be easily proven through dental records.
If he can prove that the voice actor worked for him as claimed, and that he had the gold tooth prior to the game being made, he would be almost certain to win the case. Too many coincidences to be ignored.
@ziggurcat:
The hook for the Switch isn't portability, it is transferability. Smartphones and the Gameboy do not allow you to play console games on the go, nor do they allow immediate "switch"ing between home and portable play, with the same cart and same save file.
More like 10m, if Nintendo is lucky.
