No. DD-Exclusive isnt anywhere near being practical yet.
1. Most people prefer having physical media rather than just a file sitting on an HDD, It makes it feel like you actually own something rather than just having a licence to use it.
2. Current platter based HDD's are far to unreliable, The average HDD has a life span of about 6-7 years. what happens after that point? the HDD craps out and hasta la vista to you're potentially thousands of $ worth ...

Is that what you say every time anyone makes any comparsion? they are actually very similar, they are both open world crime shooters made by R*North. Basically the only difference is in LA Noir the main character is a cop. Same as Red Dead where the only major difference is its set in the old west. The theme may be different but the gameplay style is exactly the same.
My launch 60gb PS3 still works perfectly, I have however gone through 13 (irony at its finest) of the original 360 arcades. My new 360 slim from a year/half ago still works though so maybe they fixed the problem. time will tell i guess.

PS2? Are you kidding? The Dreamcast was nearly twice as powerful as the PS2, that is one of the reasons it failed. It was ahead of its time and very difficult to program for. Also there is currently only 1 PS2 emulator and even it is still very unstable.
You can get the same comfort and convenience on a pc, most people just either don't bother or don't know any better. I have my PC hooked up to a 47" 1080p 240hz LED TV right now.
Edit: Forgot to add, both the 360 and PS3 controllers are compatible with the PC also. With any freeware keymapping program like joytokey they can be used on any PC game.
@EYEamNUMBER1, There is nothing FACT about an opinion. In order to technically OWN a company, you need to possess atleast 51% of said companies stock. The pokemon company is a subsidiary of gamefreaks inc, and nintendo only owns 32% stock in it. Pokemon is and always has been owned by gamefreakes.
Just to add to that. Nintendo has been the PUBLISHER of pokemon up til this point but that doesn't make them the owners, that would be like saying 2K games owns oblivion.
Even though i agree with the article, $20 says the writer gets sued for slander over it.
Classic example of not understanding the game, an investment is an investment whether its in real life or not. The last major purchase this guy made in the game was a bank that he paid about 150k for and within the first year doing buisness with it made back over 2mil. who's the fool now.
Give it 6 months and he will probably have already made back so much money off space tourism and taxi fairs between worlds, that 26k will look like pocket change.

The texture detail looks higher on the vita but that could just be because of the much smaller screen, the pixel-area is denser. As for the color pallet, water detail and foliage detail the ps3 version wins by far.

Resolution is only one of many aspects of the hardware, and that is exactly the problem. nintendo is releasing what is suppose to be a "NEXT" gen console while using current gen (6yo) hardware. Upgrading nothing but the resolution over competing current gen consoles. Technically yes it is old tech, and with the wiiU still a year and a half from release. by the time the wiiU comes out, its hardware will be 7.5 years old.
