Looks like its being used as a power source for the LED's
@soundslike, That would be fine if they hadn't left us hanging upside down (almost literally) after ep2. If HL3 starts right from the end of HL2 ep2 then i guess its fine, but that wouldn't really make much sense. I just hope they don't leave the story unfinished completely.
@holyOrangeCows, When was the last time you saw a phonebook showing peoples credit card information? Even sony themselves haven't been able to find out for sure what info was leaked so how do you seem to know that it was just names and addresses?
There is already one guy online claiming to have had over $12k taken from his bank account and has shown photo evidence of the withdrawl from his bank statement, If that can be proven then i think its a little more severe than you make it...
@sikbeta, Agreed, and that is exactly the part that will need to be proven in the case.
@Shadow Flare, It wouldn't be fraud, but it could potentially be a breach of trust, If they can prove that sony failed to properly secure their network or encrypt the personal data.
Couldn't care less about graphics, imo the artistic style is more important than graphical realism, just give me a conventional controller and atleast 720p res on all games and ill be happy.
@AndrewRyan, A TOS doesn't quite work that way. When a company stores peoples personal information, it is required by law to protect that info, allowing to to be leaked is a violation of federal law. A TOS is only for extending or making known of currently existing rights. It doesn't magically change or nullify federal law. In this case it wont protect them.
@anyone laughing about the suit ammount. you have to remember this is a "class action" suit, which me...
@news4geeks Why don't you try botching up a turn irl at 280+mph then come back here and let us all know how it turned out. (no pun intended)
Lazy devs like Dice hold back pc games. Its their choice to make the game multiplatform and again their choice NOT to optimize the pc version. games like KZ3 are prime examples of this fact, as a console game that looks better than any pc game currently available (including the first crysis) developers like Dice have nobody to blame but themselfs for multiplatform games looking bad on the pc also. next time try taking the time to properly optimize the pc version of you're game before blam...

"EA Announce global monopoly day" HAHA wow talk about irony.
@telekeneticmantis Butthurt much? Hardedge never said R2 was a bad game, he simply said it didn't live up to expectations people had after playing R1 (which is true) you should try to calm down and not overreact to everything. you're replies to both the article and hardedge are quite immature and lead me to believe you might be the "kid" here.
ps. just to reiterate, R2 is not a bad game, it just wasn't as good as R1
Beat WKC 3 times and enjoyed it, ill admit the combat system was half baked and the story was somewhat cliche (which is to be expected of most jrpg's anyway) but overall the game was good. hopefully the rerelease of it that's coming with WKC2 will fix up the combat system a bit.

Ozma - FF9
@Ve3tro I never claimed multiplayer.it took the video from 4gamers, i simply pointed out the fact that they didn't post it first, as CrimsonEngage stated. No matter where multiplayer.it got there copy of it from, 4gamers posted it 12min before multiplayer.it
3/31 11:04, 3/31 11:16, the vid on multiplayer.it was posted 12min AFTER the one on 4gamers.
From what i understand, it seems the 1gb of extra space is being added mostly for a type of drm padding. they will add 1gb of junk files to the outer layer of the disk that the game will require to start. because of the extra files/size, it will make it impossible to directly copy the game to a normal DVD-R. which i guess microsoft assumes will fix piracy. I doubt games themselfs will have much if any additional space to use.
@Pekka
I didn't say as fast, i said NEARLY as fast. the pandora has 256mb of ram, nearly as much video memory and its main arm8 cpu is freely overclockable to 900mhz, it also has a secondary cpu running at over 400mhz. the NGP has a single 1.3ghz cpu. so they are similar. i agree the NGP will be more powerful than the pandora (which is why i previously stated i am no longer planning on purchasing a pandora) although the difference isn't nearly as much as you think.
The pandora handheld is nearly as powerful as the NGP and has actually been in production for over 3 years, some of the units from the fist batch were sold 2-3 years ago, the reason there still selling as first batch now is because the company started out as just 2 guys with limited resources, not a large company. unfortunatly its taken this long for some of them to be made but its by no means a "brand new" device.
@MasterCornholio, Not sure the exact amount of power an LED uses so i cant say for sure but probably. a potato can put out around 1-1.5w of power.
