That Driveclub trailer doesn't contain any gameplay footage as far as i can see, it is all pre-rendered scenes, also even as it looks in that video, it isn't half as good as the current build of Project Cars maxed out.

The standard models in GT5 may look like crap but the premiums are far beyond anything in any current Forza game, especially the interiors.
As for its sim qualities, Sims are all about physics, not visuals. It isn't exaggerated, it is statistical fact.
The PS3s failure rate was below 1%, the 360s was 33% up until the jasper chipset in sept 08 which brought it down to about 14%. The slims finally brought it down to around 4-5% which is where it is currently.

The human eye actually does not see in a set frames per second at all, it works completely different and can vary significantly depending on what is being viewed. Testing has shown an ability to see anywhere from 24-200fps on average and sometimes even higher. Adrenaline can also increase that even further. Potentially as high as 1000fps.
Sry but slow and clunky does not equal realistic/authentic or anything similar.

If you buy the consoles you won't be able to play any of the PC's exclusives, so what is your point? It goes both ways.
Consoles = Cheaper system cost, higher game cost, no PC exclusives.
PC = Higher system cost, lower game cost, no Console exclusives.
All just depends on how many games you plan on buying and which exclusives interest you the most.

Did you watch them in 1080p? They are both miles better than anything shown on consoles.
The tracks still need a bit of work which is to be expected as it is still pre-alpha, obviously the cars are going to be the first priority, but the car models are so far ahead of Driveclub/Forza5/GT6, it isn't even worth trying to make a comparison.
