Star Wars: The Old Republic and the Revan book kind of ruins the chances of a KOTOR 3, unless they essentially do a game based on the Revan book. The story of Revan and Meetra (the Exile) has been told and there is even a Flashpoint in SWTOR that kind of wraps it up. I mean, if they essentially make the Revan book a playable game... I am totally all for it. I just don't see it happening...
I always laugh when I hear about iOS devices taking over gaming. No chance it ever happens. Maybe it effects the Vita/3DS market, but the games I have on my iPhone are time wasters that I have for waiting in an office. I have the two Battlefield games, RAGE and Mass Effect Infiltrator for my iPhone and they are clunky and unenjoyable. MAYBE they'd be OK on an iPad, but just OK. The Battlefield 3 game was so bad EA took it down.
No chance. As has been said... maybe as an e...
You're completely right. They couldn't make one as good. They made one better. Well, DICE did. EA and Activision don't make games.
OK, so that's strike two against it. I'd say both are beyond valid.
You could only come up with three? Kind of a dumb list. If you can't come up with at least 10, why even bother?
Um... that "article" was written by a reader on Kotaku. It was essentially an extremely poorly written Op-Ed piece. That was actually very clearly presented as being the case. Twice.
Um, what? Everyone complained about the name of the Wii and Kinect, and some still do.
Um... Claptrap...
Couldn't have said it better myself, though I don't and won't be owning either. There's no rule saying you can only have one or the other.
The advantages of owning every format: I could care less about who gets what. You shouldn't care either. Enjoy what you want to play on whatever you play it on. Stop turning everything into a ridiculous argument.
@Dlacy13g - haha, for real? $50 is prepaying for your maps along with the stat tracking Battlefield gives for free. You get maps on a monthly schedule that will equate to the same amount you would have received in the normal map packs. I would hardly call that a deal.
@Pekolie what game lets you have a private server in which you can alter the rules in a public match the way you can with the Battlefield servers? I do agree that BFBC2 had private servers but like COD, nothing ...
Only one I can remotely agree with is Batman: Arkham Asylum. The points about Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire are astoundingly bad. Change the ending of RDR because Jack's voice was annoying? Um, yeah. That was one of the most heart wrenching endings in the history of gaming. He has a cracky voice because he's a kid. Way to miss the point. The switching of characters in LA Noire... I mean... they were setting up a sequel... and it made sense.
Bad list.
You mean steal.
PS - This is Comcast related, not Xbox. On Demand is a part of the service paid for when you subscribe to Comcast.
I actually have this on pre-order and am really looking forward to it. Seeing the initial trailer made me run out and actually buy Prey, and it looked like this was going to be light years ahead. It would be a shame if it did actually get cancelled.
Downloaded on Xbox Live at 5:45AM.

How does someone disagree with someone saying thanks for watching?
This is going to be one of the best games of the year for sure.
How did this get approved?

Great read. I wish them all luck and hope they are successful in their goals with this letter. I mean, to me the most damning part of the whole thing was the section where the writer talks about stock falling from $30 a share to 70 cents. How does anyone keep their job after THAT?
Also interesting to note; I never realized Lumber Liquidators was somehow involved in the hierarchy and ownership of THQ. Explains their presence in Homefront.
If only. I would cry tears of nerd joy. It would just be too good to be true.
