The overhaul might end up making it good. Look at what FF14 turned out in the end. Although the difference is that SE are somewhat competent while Bioware doesn't seem to have a shred of talent.
@rlow1 Actually, the PS5 will be BC with all PS4 titles. They did say that they were testing 4000+ PS4 titles for compatibility. When they said top 100, it was what they were absolutely sure was working at the time.
Since the PS4 has more games than Xbox One (even if you account for its BC), I'd say the PS5 will have a bigger launch lineup too.

Vastly different? There is even less difference between the PS5 and XSX than there was with the PS4 and Xbox One.
Anything the XSX can do, the PS5 will be able to do as well. You won't see any difference in resolution, framerate and visual quality between the two consoles. You could, if you were like DF and zoomed in to 1000% to see just a tiny spec of difference.

This showcase is going to be one hour of third party that will sell better on PS5 or they will show trash like bleeding edge for first party. Microsoft are all talk, anyone expecting more than empty promises from them at this point is just glutton for punishment.

Sony are gonna bring their first party games to PC, but you will have to wait 2-3 years for them to release them. It's smart, you get more customers and it doesn't hurt your hardware sales either.
Meanwhile, Microsoft releasing their games day 1 on PC significantly hurt their hardware sales as you don't need to buy a Xbox to play them.

It doesn't need to come out in 2020 (and let's be realistic, there is no way it's coming in 2020). However, something else need to be released in 2020 because if Paper Mario is the last thing we get, it's gonna be very disapointing. I know Pokemon got an expansion pass, but shouldn't we get a new pokemon game this year? We get them every year. I wouldn't mind a Let's Go Johto duology, 2nd gen was the best one imo.

Yeah, Sony would keep charging $60 for PS Plus while M$ would charge you at least $120 a year to play online since that would be integrated into Game pass. The amount of their fanbase that won't want to pay twice what they're already paying is gonna be pretty big and it's obviously gonna make people angry (and their fanbase is already small as it is).
